WickleinPfeffernusse Iced Gingerbread Cookies 7oz, Two Pack, 7.05 Ounce (Pack of 2)

I purchased these to go along with a class presentation on German culture, St. Nick, and Christmas celebrations and the students absolutely devoured them!

I tried 4 different brands of these cookies and this one was the best!They have the thickest layer of white frosting and were very fresh on the first bite compared to the other brands. They came in a nice blue bag and were not broken at all. Can’t wait to put them out for Christmas.

I was worried that these would be hard or stale, but they are amazing, moist, and fresh. Highly recommended!

2024 is apparently the year of crushed, imported cookies. They tasted fine, but were beat up at some point after packaging. Soft Gingerbread coated with sweet, candy crunch and chocolate afterthought.... Yum. Great presentation IF they arrive un-damaged. They were fresh. I shared them, but had to explain their appearance in this case.

Taste is weak, barely OK. NOT spectacular. BUT at $.61 per cookie, of which there is only 17 Per Bag IT BECOMES A HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE VALUE. This is Shrinkflation at it's best. I though we were over that gouging practice. apparently company wants to get 1 more shot at ripping us of before the holidays. There are other companies selling these flavored cookies that have to be a better value. THIS WAS A ZERO

The Pfeffernuse were excellent. Unfortunately, the packaging was terrible, so what we got was mostly (very tasty) crumbs.
