Insulated Portable Shower (5 Litre, Aqua) for Dogs, Camping, Paddleboarding, Muddy Walks

better than others on the market
I have a very mucky Spaniel and 8ltrs is what it takes to get him vaguely clean. It's not perfect and it's not like using a mains hose but it's a reasonable portable alternative. It works best when there is someone to pump and someone to clean as pressure drops quickly as the water jets out. So I meet up with friends an hours drive away for a two hour walk followed by a pub lunch . If I fill up with hot water before we leave, three hours or so later the water is warm. I can clean the dog and dry him so he can be clean enough to go to the pub. The quality seems pretty good. It is pretty heavy. 8 Litres weighs 8 kilos so it's definitely something you would leave in your car. Doesn't require power other than human pumping. It's a 7/10 for me but not found anything better for the money.

Yes it can be used for human showers too...
First off, very happy with the service. I ordered with minutes to spare for next-day delivery and initially received an email message that they couldn't quite make it for dispatch in time, and it would be 2 days for delivery. I had a couple of hours to cancel the order if I wanted to, but went ahead. And then the item arrived the very next day anyway! By Royal Mail too, so it was a good performance all round.Currently in a situation where my shower is out of action for a week or two, and maybe longer. I hate going to public showers or to people's houses to use their showers, so of course went straight online to find something to tide me over. I had in mind something that would be entirely laws-of-physics based, would use warm or hot water that I would prepare myself, and wouldn't cost very much.Anything needing plumbing or wiring was out. Anything needing gas bottles to power it was out. Anything needing me to buy a separate massive bucket was out. All I wanted was something simple that would get the job done. This product is where the search ended. I got the 8L version after reading comments from previous buyers about the duration of the stream (they said 4 minutes, and that is about right). You have to hand-pressurise it yourself as you go, so keep the unit within easy reach just outside the showering area. The showerhead's thumb-control is a bonus as you can soak yourself, do your lathering, then rinse off exactly as if you were yourself a dog. There's no way to attach it to a wall or rail and it's slightly awakward showering with one hand, but you wet yourself first, turn off the flow, and then rinse after. You will need a hand on the thumb-control to turn the water off and on a few times, which is the only way it works. The 'shower' setting isn't as useful as the 'cone' setting – that's the one that feels most like a shower to me.Fill the tank to the brim with warm water (err on the side of cooler water for the first go), test it on your forearm, and sit the unit on something that puts it at chest-height. I used a mini-stepladder. Position this next to the shower area, and loop the shower attachment over the top or through a gap in the doors (the shower isn't powerful enough to ceate much spillage through the gap). I had to re-pressurise about 4 times during my shower. Yes it's a chore showering this way but the most important thing is it works. This shower is not just for muddy dogs, but for human householders/campers/whatever who might need it for any reason.

Perfect!
Bought this instead of the Mud Daddy equivalent after two bad experiences with the latter brand. It’s been great so far and seems much more robust than the MD. The shower head doesn’t have a brush on it but that’s not been a problem. Recommended.

Portable and useful for muddy wet dogs!!
Good quality product with insulated cover. Can fill it and put it into the car before a dog walk, that way they dogs are clean before they get into the car for the return journey. It would be better if it came with a brush attachment as that is an expensive accessory to buy.

Very handy
I have used it once on a very dirty medium sized dog. It's not a high pressure flow, but it did the job. Will come into it's own if your dog likes mud.

Wow wow wow!
The media could not be loaded. My biggest regret I didn’t buy this years ago, thought it might be no different from having a flask of boiling water to wash my mums wheelchair wheels how very wrong I was. This is like having a jet wash in the boot of your car. I love to wheel my mum around the grounds in her nursing home but cleaning the wheels after is a nightmare never enough water in a flask and impossible to aim the water where you want it. This holds so much water, has great pressure and I’ve bought mud mate brushes that fit on it too although I just use the bottle with brush attachment and the spray gun to rinse off. We have a caravan and boat so know this will also come in handy for washing down body boards, our Sandy feet not forgetting our dog who can now have a warm shower outside. Love it! Great after sales service too couldn’t recommend this any more. Just buy it and see for yourself. I don’t leave many reviews but this deserves a glowing one as really is a game changer! And today I’ve found another use instead of filling the kettle with warm water 40 times to clear it he snow, the hose pipe was frozen so I filled the washer with warm water and did the entire car in one go.
