Q: Is there a wetness indicator on these nappies?

Our nappies do not have a wetness indicator strip as those are usually created by adding chemicals. This is not something that our company supports as we want our nappies to be as free of chemicals as possible so they can be better for the baby and better for the world.

Q: Do they still leak from the back or has this been improved since 2022?

I’ve used K&K since my little one was born (now 18 months) and I have never found them to leak. I know friends who have tried them and some swear by them, some complain that they leak - but it seems to be much the same for every brand. I think different nappy brands suit different babies. The thing I love about K&K is they can be worn all night without the inside disintegrating like some eco nappies. I don’t think anything has changed about the nappies themselves since 22, except the outer pack is now more papery (less plasticky) and therefore more eco friendly too.

Q: How many nappies do you go through per month

I find it varies and I use a combination of these and reusable nappies but if just using these I found I used an average of 6 per day. Often less and sometimes more. We were also practicing elimination communication which sometimes led to us using more because we changed the nappy more often than we needed to. Anyway, approx 42 a week, I'd probably round up to 50, so 200 a month. Sounds a lot! But they are great nappies!
