Prolix Total Gun Care Solvent 8 oz. with Pump Spray Cap

I will lead with the comment that I've used Hoppe's No.9 my whole life and I love that smell. But.....I was introduced to this product by our CCL instructor. It smells like Windex, but the smell dissipates quickly. It doest harm any finishes. It breaks carbon up very quickly. It supposedly leaves a dry film lubricant behind, but I'm old school, so I'm still gonna use oil where I think it's needed. Overall, I will continue to use this product because it works great, and the pump spray is easier than spilling your bottle of Hoppe's.

I have only used it a couple of times, but it seems to work quite well. It is odorless and since it does not use a petroleum base, it cleans up easily.

Great product. Biodegradable and ozone safe. Cleans my rifles and pistols very well.Use on a brush for 2-3 passes, then wet patch 3-4 times. 4th or 5th patch clean.Once a year use to clean stripped down guns.No problems yet, used about 11 months.Shoot benchrest.22 competition 4-5 times per month; great for running a worm patch between targets.

One of the best gun CLPs going. Does what it says and worth every penny. Trying a new CLP at the moment but have this on the shelf to go back to. For those that keep searching for best clp, buy this. Try it and never have to use another product

I guess I'm always a sucker looking for a better product and that's why I wanted to try Prolix. It works perfectly well cleaning my weapons but the other at least 6 products I have pretty much do too. The part I liked was the claim "Dry Lube Base", not smelling horrendous and being bio-degradable. To be any more of a review you have to give it more time to see how it works over the long run.
