Loud & Functional
Amazon replaced the first one I didn't receive. This is a great concept for extra security. It is very loud and I love the security it brings.

Very loud, as needed
This is nice & loud, it seems to not grip as well on my floor as I'd like but my floor is natural stone so perhaps that is why. Its ok for the price though. Tested it a few times & its seriously LOUD!

Good Security (2 pack)
This won't stop anyone from getting it but it sure will alert you to their arrival. With 3 settings, low, medium and hi, all three with plenty enough volume to wake the dead. It as an on/off switch so the TSA doesn't get an unwanted surprise. Made of good plastics with a top switch of metal on top. Rubber footing holds it in place. Takes two AAA batteries, not included. In case it is not clear, these do not go under a door. They simply sit in front on it. If someone opens the door, the door will hit the metal switch and set the alarm off. Simple, yet effective.Highly recommended.

Excellent addition to your home security system
This is an excellent addition to my home security chest. Stops people from entering while sounding a loud and disturbing noise. Predators will run away. I use them when I travel and stay in hotels.

Extremely loud, but slips when you open the door.
I popped a 9volt battery into one of them, turned it on “L” which I assume was for low volume, and I almost blew my ears off. Needless to say this thing will be LOUD when you need it to work. Now, it does have what looks like a non-slip rubber like material on the bottom, but it doesn’t work. I have wood floors, and when I put the device in front of my door, I was able to fling my door open and this just moved to the side …. essentially defeating the purpose. Perhaps buying non-stick dycem mat or something could help, but this was a bit of a let down.

Peace of mind but occasionally annoying if you forget or you cat forgets.
So I was burglarized by folks breaking in the front door at 2:20 am a few months back, and was fortunate enough to be having insomnia and taking a bath when they attempted it and I fought them. But it made me a bit worried about...what if Id been sleeping? What would these two guys with crowbars have done?So I bought this and some other stuff, and it works perfectly, If someone breaks the front door open with a crowbar, this 100% will sound the alarm. Its loud enough to wake you up so you can confront folks with something other then a bath towel. So I truly recommend this for folks, it does exactly what it says it does. The bad:the first few times I forgot about it and opened my door without disarming it. This happened a truly unreasonable amount of times, and was 100% my fault. The first 2 times my cat stepped on it. Shes figured out thats no fun cause she hates the noise. The first time your cleaning robot runs it over. The first time you move it further back, but then you other robot runs it over.If you have dogs it might be a issue if they aren't as smart as my cat. Most are...but we all know some that aren't. But generally most folks don't have this many robots wandering around. But if you have a roomba, yeah disarm it, or mark it as out of bounds. Don't expect this to cause anyone to call the cops or look, this is for you.
