This coffee table drips with rich roots in preserving a piece of history in the Pacific Northwest. Reclaimed from City living to the Country life. Century old circle-sawn ship-lap boards harvested from an old downtown Seattle building that was once an infamous city brothel were used to build the frame and post legs. The incredible wood used to fashion the top and lower shelf I collected from an old Dairy milking barn built between 1907-1910 just a little North of Seattle that had recently been demolished. However our reclaimed wood sources are constantly varying. We select the finest available from old barns and buildings and always provide the back story and rich history on each custom piece. ☆☆☆ This coffee table is as true as it gets to real reclamation. Every piece of rustic wood bares a mark or a ding or an imperfection from its 100+ years of purposeful existence. Even the original milling saw marks from its first day as dimensional lumber hewn away from an enormous old growth timber. Likely fell by men with cross-cut hand saws and drug by horse drawn skidders to loading docks where it was either trucked or floated by river to the Everett Washington lumber mills. ☆☆☆ We are ready to build you your personal piece of reclaimed art similar to this one or another to fit exactly your size, use, and needs. ☆☆☆ Please Note: As is the nature of reclaimed wood no two pieces are exactly alike. Your table will be Unique! Our tables and furniture are intended to bare the full character of Reclamation. Meaning nail holes and wear marks and dings and knots are part of the beauty of our products.
