120 Piece Refill Tapes for Instant Face, Neck and Eye Lift Kit Lifting Tape With Bands

Hi. I have been face tapping for about ten years now, I first learned about it from a Kevin Aucoin make up book called "Making Faces."I am born male and at the time was seeking tips on how to feminize my face with make up.I came across another face tape with bands product first. I have been using that for most of my face taping career.However, I was allergic to the adhesive and in a few hours, would blister. Leaving scars.The price of beauty!Unfortunately I could not use the other brand of face tape each day. I would need to let my skin heal before reapplying.Years later, I have transitioned to being a transgender woman. I have had facial feminization surgery and some face lifts.Facetaping allowed me to see, before surgery what I could look like. So I am grateful for this process.It was and is a step my step process in looking more like a cisgender woman and my journey is almost complete.I have one more surgery I am saving up for.These wonderful tapes are allowing me to put that "best face forward" each day!Without itching and blisters!Amazing.As I am writing this review, I have had the tapes on for coming up to SIX DAYS!No blisters, no discomfort.I use this product this way:I start with clean skin and prepping the area with a 99% or 91 % rubbing alcohol. I then use a medical tape that is listed below to tap on the areas I will aplly the Instalift tapes to really make sure the skin and pores are clean.I then place the Instant Face, Neck and Eye Lift tape in the areas I want lifted. Releasing the bands at night, using a silk sleeping hair cap to keep my hair in good condition and the bands out of sight.The nest day I would shower (with a shower cap) style me hair and reattach the back of the wires and have my truer face again!I feel amazing being able to show my feminized and more youthful face with comfort, ease and at a fraction of surgery costs.It has taken off a lot of pressure. I am saving for the surgery and able to give the look I feel most confident in.This weekend I will remove the tapes and give my skin a rest on Sunday for my Monday back at work routine with my Latina face in place with a new and fresh set of tapes.Will update this review if necessary.The manufacturer and company who sold me this excellent product was kind enough to provide bands with the refill tape kit.I already had bands but that was a sign of superb customer service. I have been using these for years. I have learned tips on making these easier to use, more discreet and last all day.1. I cut these to fit better and be more discreet, especially for the eye/forehead. Simply cut 1/2" inch off round end to be more invisible. I also place as close to hairline, sometimes overlap just a tad.2. I cut into longer strips to go by ear/sideburn area.2. Use original ones with metal bands. They work better, you can snip off extra knots to fit your face, etc. Or add knots as they loosen up over time.3. Thread metal clasp shiny side up, so it doesn't poke you and turn clasp in direction that's least intrusive. I turn metal kneck clasps horizontally, and forehead and sideburn area vertically.4. If wearing all day or in humidity, my secret is applying adhesive liquid Kryolan Mastix P Spirit gum 1.7 f oz. Over tape, gently tap with finger to tackiness and it will hold much better. This spirit gum is much gentler than other brands. Some hair may stick to it, but around forehead, it actually works to my advantage as I simply press those hair strands over tape and in windy conditions hides tape. P.s. they use to sell This particular brand on Amazon, now I have to buy directly.5. Amazon for some reason hasn't had these tapes available, which I am now ordering directly through manufacturer and paying for expedited shipping to ensure a tracking number and prompt delivery.6. I have tried other brands, including CosmeSearch no metal clasp brand, and have been disappointed. The non metal bands, is a one size fits all, not really practicable for all people. They dont stick as well, but haven't tried them with mastix either. I just didn't like them. Other brands were not as good. Through Cosmesearch, you can individually order additional bands as well, plus as many ou packets of 40 tapes without bands too. Unfortunately, I have not seen there 120 refill through their site. 7. Use oil to remove everything at night. Dont use overnight, as you can produce sensitive patch of skin. Let your skin have time off so as to keep your skin healthy. I will not wear once I get home. If you barely use these you should have no problem, as long as you clean your skin and any adhesive nightly and always use rubbing alcohol first, let dry then apply tapes.

When I first started ordering these tapes they worked great even in high humidity, they never came off. The past couple orders I've placed, I've received tapes that hardly stay on at all. The adhesive is very poor quality. It's a shame because this was the only place I had found that had tapes that actually stayed on very well.

I tried it 2 times already. The first time it lifted my face and looked oretty good. The 2nd time I used it it seemed to create more linesgoing up the side of my face after I put the adhesive on, but I'll keep using it and get better at placement of he adhesive, but I think a much stronger adhesive is needed for these tapes to hold up the fac correctly. At least it's a lot cheaper than plastic surgery!Thank you.
