Country music's 'Gentle Giant' re-teams with award-winning producer Garth Fundis for Reflections, the follow up to 2012's well-received comeback album And So It Goes. Don Williams, a Country Music Hall of Fame member, dominated for decades as a country hit maker and was dubbed 'the Gentle Giant' because of his unique blend of commanding presence and that laid-back, easy style cutting across national and genre boundaries. Those personal and musical qualities that stood out strongly across the 1970s, '80s and '90s, came full circle both in 2012, as Williams delivered the masterful And So It Goes, and today, as he readies the release of Reflections. Now, digging deeper into his winning, self-assured ease and revered musical style, Williams delivers a new collection of songs on Reflections that are sure to become instant classics. Included are numbers penned by legends Townes Van Zandt, Merle Haggard, Jesse Winchester and others, setting the bar high and requiring the talents of only someone of Williams' caliber to deliver them as intended.

It was sweet having a decent 13 whole harmonica

Number 2 draw was Dead On Arrival.
I wanted to test out the Power Bender. It sounds like a good idea but the number 2 draw reed was dead the very first time I tried it. I am going to return it for replacement and see if another harp will work properly.

Interesting harmonic
I got a harmonica in E but the low notes are too low for my taste. Iโll get one in C or D, I am sure theyโll be better. It requires โpractice man, practiceโ but it is a good quality instrument. I recommend it.

Sharp edges
Sounds great. Nice to have the low notes. Makes for a great bass sound. The cover plates have sharp edges at the backside; worried I'll cut my fingers. The case is very nice.

Takes a while to learn how to take advantage of the lower register
Well made, I have others from the same company, easily keeps up with a hohner

Buy a Hohner or Seydel
Getting 13 holes on a harmonica sounded cool but the hole spacing is wider than a standard 10 hole harmonica so you have to make major adjustments.I got the Power Chromatic only to find out that it's ALMOST fully chromatic (which means it isn't chromatic), pretty disappointed with it, I won't be getting any more harmonicas from East TopEast Top quality is only slightly better than acceptable, get a German harmonica, they're worth the money.

Nice harp!
Nice versatility in a chromatic without the slide!

Latest Album from Don Williams
I have long been a fan of Don Williams and after his previous album "And So It Goes" which I really liked, I was very happy to hear that he had been tempted to leave his ranch to make another. When "Reflections" was released I ordered from Amazon which also included mp3 downloads in the price. I was therefore able to hear the album tracks before the cd arrived and I played the complete album several times over the next couple of days and again since.I believe this album is one of his best and I say that even though I play all his others on a regular basis. Don is so easy to listen to and the music is so good .I highly recommend this latest collection to everyone.

OF WHAT?
Reflections of a long and wonderful career? Maybe so! This could be the last album from the king of country music. He's not getting any younger. The selection of songs are the usual excellent standard, and delivered with the perfection we've come to expect from the master. The only down side? There are only 10 songs, but if you're a true DW fan, you just have to have this one. Even with just 10 numbers, it's worth every penny!

Fantastic
As an ardent Don Williams fan for as long as I can remember, he can do no wrong for me. This album was a delight not just for the content, but because he decided to make another one, his voice is as good as ever, I just love this man and his music. If you like Don Williams you will love this one, if you are only just finding him - this is a great introduction.

Don's latest release
Once again top sound from Don just as good today as he as always been.very disappointed with the cardboard sleeve it's like something you get when you get a free CD with a daily newspaper a temporary case. I would have paid a bit more for a decent case. For the content I would give it 100 stars and more if I could but for the case I'd be pushed to give it 1. I have given it five stars but only for the content.

Brilliant!!
Truly a superb album from a singer with one of the greatest voices ever. Although in his 70's, Don's voice has lost none of its quality. So relaxing, my wife and I have played this CD over and over without ever tiring of listening to his music. No hesitation in recommending this album to any fan of easy listening. Long may he continue!!!!!
