Breaks for the rear wheel don't work. No clamp to adjust seat height. Would return if possible.
This was supplied by Amazon Warehouse. The brakes for the rear wheel doesn't work. The light for the front of the bike could not be assembled.I even took the bike to my local bike shop and paid them to re assemble this. Despite spending £40, even they were unable to fix the brakes for the rear wheel!No mechanism to adjust the seat height. Instructions on the manual to adjust the seat does not match with the hardware. No clamp to keep the seat in place despite being in the instructions as per the manual.The manual which came with the bike is not user friendly and very difficult to follow.It is a nightmare for us to return, otherwise would have done it already. Won't let my child ride the bike, since we are unsure about the safety.

Great bike top quality apart from odd choice for seat material
Second schwinn bike for my son had the balance bike when first starting and now this 16” as his third size up. Easy to assemble with a little common sense around 20 mins all in. The only negative is the seat material as it easily scratches and then splits!! This part will be replaced quickly. The rest of the bike though is fantastic quality and design my 5 year old loves it

Faulty product
It is the first bike for my son. I bought it very excited thinking how the child was going to enjoy it.what I found is that the stabilizer wheels do not fit and when one touches the ground, the other remains in the air. No matter how tight it fits, it's defective. The handlebar is also not fixed. You screw it in well and after a short time it loosens again.all this makes the bike unusable because it is unstable. We are very unhappy with this investment. I don't know the solution to this problem. I do not recommend this product

BEWARE - DOES NOT COME WITH REAR PEDAL BRAKES
I don't know why Schwinn would sell an inferior product int he UK versus the US...the bike doesn't have rear pedal brakes, but it does in the US.Getting children to learn how to bike is difficult and dengerous enough, but this lack of safety is concerning.Unacceptable.

Good value but not easy to assemble
We liked the bike and it is good value but the instructions were so difficult and not at all easy to understand and put together, maybe this was just me but I usually have no issues when putting things together,
