WELL MADE CONNECTOR. GOOD VALUE.
This plug is a 30A,125/250VAC, 3-Pole,4-Wire Grounding NEMA L14-30R Locking Connector. The connector is well made and the design for "Wire Attachment" was well thought out. The "Tactile" feel is excellent. The connector is made in China.When you remove the connector from the box you think there is no instruction shreet. You are right. If you didn't know or "you got lucky", you would find the Instructions printed on the inside of the box. Open the box completely by carefully peeling it apart where the box ends are glued together. Depending on how small a print you can read, you will find that the Instructions are well written; the box 'flaps' identify a wide variety of plugs and connectors.I don't think you should have any problems or questions about this connector. It is well made and it interfaced with the exterior firmly.My application is somewhat different from what it is "spec'd for. It will be coming from a 4700W peak Inverter that has one each 30A & 20A 120VAC connector. I will be attaching Two cables: one 10 gauge (30A) and one 12 gauge (20A) cable to this L14-30R connector. This connector will be plugged into an external Box on the house, which goes through the house to a two row, three outlet box, both designed for 30A Max. I will use it for one 30A row and one 20A row. The box is there so you don't have to run individual cables through a door or window.The end of the connector appears that it will accommodate the cable wires. The individual wire attachment appears that the Ground and Neutral will accommodate 10 & 12 gauge wires.It is good enough that I bought another one for the second Inverter.

Slightly oversize
Looks to be a well built plug, but is slightly oversized preventing them from being fully inserted in some Generator ports sold on Amazon.
