Great Straps for many purposes!
I have used these for about a year now. My first impression was the that the quality of the strap and the ratchet were much better than tie downs I had purchased at this price range in the past. Great quality for the price. Nice thick straps, for this class/size, with strong webbing and I really like the double hooks. The hooks hold well on just about anything, at least all the the different ways I've had to use them. I have used these to tie down my tarp on my 16' foot trailer while moving (400 miles each way-12 times!), logs, pipes, lumber, lawn tractors, motorcycle, kayak and now I'm using them on my freshly milled lumber to keep the wood from warping badly as it dries. I will be ordering more... hence that's why I decided to write this review. For those who have seen wear in one use, all I can say is that if you use any strap and let it rub against an abrasive surface they will fray. That's just the way it is with ANY nylon strap. Unless it's steel that's just the way it is.As an underground contractor I have used just about every type of tie downs and straps you can imagine for securing down equipment/pipe/limber/steel/tools etc. the list goes on. These are great straps and now I will be ordering more for use on my ranch. Out here in the middle of nowhere I like reliable equipment and these fit my needs for medium duty loads. I like them a lot or I would not recommend them... Excellent tie downs for many purposes at a great price!

great cargo strap
Over the last 20 years cargo straps have gotten ridiculously cheap in construction/materials; not these. If you want a quality strap look no further.

Mostly good
I've have an old set for years and they work great but this last set I had one of the metal pieces bend and the ratchet fell apart. Can I send just one ratchet back?

Feel thick.
These straps feel well made and the material is very thick. I would by them again.

Premium Lockdown Saftey Straps - Ease of use (NOT)
Bought these straps to hold down my electric scooter on a hitch attached Wheelchair/scooter carrier. I got them on with ease. My scooter didn't move an inch. They came off with ease. Then came the next hour and half trying to get the straps loosened trying to re-attach and tighten the straps. I got my scooter re-attached but when I got home I spent another couple hours cussing and trying to untangle the straps from the ratchets. While I think this product is super for holding things down it would be great to have a video showing the correct way to use them. And as usual YouTube to the rescue. There is a video showing EXACTLY how to use them both how to thread and un-thread. I don't believe that the video is created by the maker but I am glad someone took the time to create and post the video.

Only one flaw
I ordered these to keep in my truck because I do a lot of hauling firewood and things for other people. I read several reviews and began to notice that some brands seemed very overpriced. This brand was an exceptional price point, had good reviews and looked decent but there is one terrible flaw.Pros:Perfect length to secure things in a 5'x10' trailer or truck bedHeavy-duty webbing on the strapsExcellent handle and ratchet mechanismCons:The hooks are too small, they constantly fall out if tension isn't maintained which makes for a lot of back and forth when first securing a load.I would not purchase these again as the hook issue has been very frustrating.

AT LAST --- QUALITY!!!!
I had given up trying to find smaller-size ratchet straps like these in anything above garbage quality. They used to exist, but I couldn't find decent ones ANYWHERE. Then these popped up at Amazon. Even though I had just bought a set of crappy ones elsewhere, I went out on a limb and ordered these.WOW. Before I even opened the box, I thought I had been sent the wrong item! No WAY a pack of four small ratchet straps could be this heavy! But no, it was the correct item, I had just forgotten how heavy-duty stuff can be ... HEAVY.The pics don't do them justice. The straps are VERY thick, doubled over three layers thick at each end, and stitched solidly. The ratchets are sturdily built, once again HEAVY. They even SOUND different from the cheesy ones everybody else sells! What I'm telling you is, a blind man with no hands could STILL tell these things are serious.Just buy them. You won't be sorry.

They securely held down a 900 pound motorcycle and didn't move or slip or stretch an at all
Nothing to really dislike only used them once for a 600 mile trip. YES they were easy to use. YES they did exactly as they described they would do. YES they were packaged nicely. Had a Honda Goldwing to tie down. Only thing I would do is buy the frame loop portions 4-6 inches longer too have more length to get rachet strap farther from the actual bike. GREAT PRODUCT.
