Not seamless HomeKit integration just yet...
I was excited to try this, what seemed to be the only competitors to the philips hue bulbs that also connect to HomeKit ecosystems. I got this along with the bridge and now even over Bluetooth, not even the HomeKit side, I can’t even change the bulbs to colors, only daylight shades. So not even full advertised functionality after multiple factory resets and checks for up to date firmware.

A completely and utterly worthless "smart" light
Once upon a time, I set out in search of the perfect smart color light. I came upon this sleek looking light bulb with promising features. It advertised native Google Home integration, an amazing color spectrum, and a relatively bright output for a dandy little light this size. Wowza palooza! But alas, was I disappointed. This product is a figurative pile of horse manure and a literal waste of money that is completely useless. Sure, the lights did connect to my Nest with the Google Home app after spending about 20 mins initially trying to get it to link. After that the lights changed color wonderfully for about 5 minutes, all while very inaccurately matching the described color in the app. After that 5 minutes had passed, the lights decided to take a break from listening to me at all, quicker than when your siblings decide they don't need to listen to you anymore- right before they get themselves into a mess and come back to you crying for help. Like actually, these bulbs just stopped responding. App, voice control, gentle caressing...nothing worked. They would not turn off. They would not change color. They would not dim. Think about everything this product promises on the box and imagine none of that working whatsoever. And there you have it, the perfect description of these lights. The lights simply turn on from the wall switch to their default white setting and turn off from the wall switch as well. That is it. You may use these lights as normal white lights and that is it. Nothing else will work. You may be thinking to yourself "isn't $45 a bit much for a normal white light?" To that I resond "yes, Captain Obvious, it is, the lights are useless." If you don't understand anything else from this, just understand that. For those of you wanting me to tie this back to my sibling tangent: no, these lights did not come running back to me. It's kind of hard to do that when you completely stop responding. The support team suggested I factory reset the brand new product I received 25 minutes prior to taking it out of the box. The factory reset procedure is an intricate system of turning the light switch itself on and off multiple times while waiting a certain number of seconds before you flip the switch. While the support page is so kind as to teach you how to count (they tell you to count using mississippis), I chose not to go down this annoying and pointless road by turning off all the lights and counting to ten. I do not wish to play hide-and-seek with these bulbs and further encourage their nonsense. Doing so would be establishing a relationship with them and I would rather establish a relationship with a toilet scrubber. Also, this product is brand new and basically everyone says the exact same thing has happened to them. I thought my experience would be different, I thought what I'd have would be special. I thought wrong. As for my final rating, one star is too high for this plastic, ice cream cone shaped paperweight. Since using stars in the first place implies there is something good about the product, and since for the aforementioned reasons there is nothing good about this product, I reached out to Amazon suggesting an updated rating system of poop emojis for this smart light. Amazon rejected this proposal; however, if poop emojis were a thing I would give this product a final rating of zero (0) poop emojis.Let's be honest, I know I don't review a lot of products here so I'm aware that my opinion may not matter much to you. Indeed, I've only reviewed one other product on Amazon (an amazing paper plate, link in my bio, buy them they're amazing). But the point stands: this is a horrific product.

Meh
To me, this is just a regular bulb. The only way to control the brightness with this bulb is through its app. This will not pair with Alexa for whatever reason. Globe is a better option if you want to use it with Alexa. Also, this bulb is overpriced. I got it on sale.

I wish the reset was easier
My only gripe is they don't always pair right and resetting the bulb is a PAINFUL experience, off. On, off, on, off, on, off, on, off, on... not very cool GE... but very nice bulbs and used price of 15 bucks for 2?? That's just insanely cheap even for new prices they are very worth the 44 dollars
