Any batches ordered since summer time should all be German. Turkey got halted bc of the issues from what I understand. It’ll say on the jug of salt and it it’s Turkey I’m sure you can return it

Absolutely you can mix it in a 5-gallon bucket. Just read the instructions and it should call for around 2 cups (generally some heaping cups) to get 1.026...but if level cups it is easier to add a little more salt and if the salinity is higher than 1.026 just add a little RODI fresh water to bring it to the specific gravity you desire. Hopefully, you will use a calibrated refractometer to measure the salinity of your mixed water ...also a Maxi-Jet 1200 is a good pump to use to mix. I generally allow mine to mix overnight with a preset heater in the bucket. ;) I hope this helped. ***The pro always seems a bit tougher to mix than the regular Tropic Marin...both are good.

The bucket is only 150 gallons. The 200 gallons is in a big plastic bag. It seems to be the cheapest way to buy salt.

The 165-200 gallon treatment comes in a 5 gallon sturdy bucket. I have not bought anything smaller
