KeithTitanium Ti6300 Plastic-Free Multifunctional Cooker

I've had this for about four and a half years now and use it all the time. In fact I used it tonight to make a big helping of 'risotto', sure you can't quite simmer the arborio rice in the sauce as much, but the results are still pretty good.White rice, brown rice, jasmine, arborio, this thing handles them all like a champ and with no messy clean-up required. The clean up is the important thing. You can easily fill it to the brim with thoroughly cooked rice and none of it will stick at all.You can also use it as a steamer should you like, or even a small oven with a little bit of hacking. I don't use it for baking, I occasionally use it for steaming veggies with salmon. Oh, and the main pot is the perfect size for a standard French press filter. But the rice cooker is where it's at. It might be for camping, but the results are good enough for the home. in fact, I have an electric automatic rice cooker that I no longer seem to use as much ever since I started using this titanium marvel.It's expensive, but if you use it often like I do, and make sure to use it outside it's purpose then it's a great piece of kit. The only down side is that it does require an oddly shaped silicon gasket. This gasket does get somewhat loose after time and I'm worried about losing it on the trail, or having it fall down the garbage disposal and get chewed by accident. Replacing it would probably require contact with Keith's customer service, but I don't have a problem with that, as I've dealt with them before and they are quite accommodating.This is the second piece of Keith gear I've bought with my own money, the other being the water bottle/canteen set, and I've been happy with both my purchases.

This is a great piece of gear to add to my camping kit. Well-made and lightweight. Worth the price.The instructions I received were not in English, but at the top of the sales listing here on Amazon, you can take a screenshot of the English instructions.Makes perfect Rice — I use a sticky Medium grain, Japanese rice and it comes out perfect. I’m very pleased with this purchase.

So far it's been really awesome and I highly recommend it. The one caveat is that this is a great purchase If you like to actually cook real meals in the back country; as opposed to just boiling water and re-hydrating a mountain house meal in a bag. In that scenario, it's worth the extra weight and cost. If not, you're better off just using a single walled mug for heating water on an alcohol stove which is cheaper and lighter.Assuming you see yourself more as an outdoor gourmet and less as an ultra lightweight backpacker, then you'll find the versatility really handy. It's "pot within a pot" design allows it to be much more then a steamer for rice and vegetables with a few simple hacks.* The outer pot can be a drinking mug while you're using the inner pot for an eating bowl which is really handy and keeps the pack weight down. Just don't plan on eating soup out of the inner pot because it does have steam holes. It's fine for rice and pasta though!* Bring some waterproof tape with you to cover the steam hole at the top; then you can use it as a cold soaker to prepare meals with you while you hike. The top clamps down nice and tight and makes it a pretty functional Vargo Bot in this scenario.* Bring a thin / small metal sheet and mini bread pan with you and you can use it as a mini oven for both steam and dry baking,* Repurpose a neoprene knee wrap for an insulating sleeve like you see on a Jetboil, and this allows it to cozy cook food pretty well. At the very least you'll be able to hold it and warm your hands while you are sipping hot drinks out of it on long cold nights.That being said: it's NOT a pressure cooker. The only reason I bring it up is that there is a video out there of the company testing a beta version of the pot with a pressure cooker feature. To be clear this does NOT have that feature, so be aware of what you are getting. I did read somewhere that the company would be selling a pressure cooker lid at some point in 2018, which I will be sure to buy.Really, I can't say enough nice things about it. I'm looking forward to more Keith products in the future!

The answer my email and sent me the picuture of the instrutions in Englesh.. Up this review to four starsThere is a high demand for this product. They sent what they couldSince this is a unique product and nice to camping so there is no other choice but to keep this item and hope it works But when you receive an item where you paid almost 100 dollars for you would expect a small manual or at least a page of instructions. The only labels attached were in Chinese the website have very little more on its use.So I will experiment and hopefully not ruin too many meals. Too bad when and if it works for what I need it for it could be a great acquisition. But for now it is taking up room. How easy is it to clean... How would I know without cleaning instructions. Not happy with this company.
