I had a hand surgery and had to keep finger dry. These gloves worked very well; they are not paper thin. They fit well and are comfortable.

The gloves were just what I needed. I'm not in the medical field so I can't comment on how they work for that. I use them for when I'm cleaning the house. I don't get the chemical smell on my hands and after hand wringing a mop, they didn't break. I also used them when I was cutting chicken, onions and other food stuff.
