I LOVE IT!
I feel like I got this extremely sophisticated tactical looking timepiece for a great deal as, at the time of purchase, it only cost about half as much as it was listed for on the manufacturer's website (Luminox.com) which was $1,295.⁰⁰. I was immediately drawn to this watch, specifically because of how impressive it looked and the amazing craftsmanship of the various features that are inherently special with the Luminox brand. It cost more than I was planning on paying but after considering that every feature that was important to me – automatic winding, luminous markers that don't fade, day/date windows, quick release band, and particularly the contrast of black and blue colors (blue isn't just my favorite color it's almost more of an obsession) – with everything all being there, somehow packed into this gorgeous yet tactical and robust little package.that was aesthetically pleasing and feels comfortable on the wrist. It was at that point, that I realized how inconsequential whatever numbers were on the price tag didn't even matter anymore as this would be the last time (no pun intended) I'd have to fork out any money on another watch because it's built to last a lifetime. Now, due to some slight misalignments of the panels that showed the day of the week (Sun-Sat) and date of the month (1-30) on the first one I got, I ended up needing to return and reorder a new one which has so far been accurate and has performed completely flawlessly.-- HELPFUL TIPS --I wasn't able to find the correct user manual online, so it took me awhile to initially figure out how to resize the silicone band the first time around. I eventually got it to fit just right, but by the end of the surprisingly grueling process, I had no margin to make any finer sizing adjustments, and, even then, I had to swap the two pieces around to get it to fit comfortably without any chafing or difficulties working the clasp. However, on my second go around, I made sure to use a sharper pair of scissors and make slower cuts to remove the extra segments more precisely (I suggest cutting it as straight as possible and be sure to put the cuts directly through the center of those shallow grooves in between each pin hole part. Based on me having "average" sized wrists (I'm a 5'10 43yro 200lb adult Caucasian male for reference), in total, I ended up cutting two segments off either side plus one more from the side that attaches to the clasp with the three adjustment holes. So with those five total segments gone and the one side set to the holes closest to the inside of the clasp, it's fits comfortably without being too tight or too loose. And that way I'll at least have the option to either move it up to two places out to loosen it a bit or, worse case, remove an additional segment to tighten it./// IMPORTANT ///If you want to avoid cutting too much and risk ruining it, then having to pay about 100 bucks for a new band, I'd highly recommend removing as few segments as possible and taking your time during this process. You can always go a little bit tighter or looser by moving the placement of the pins to one of the three holes in the clasp!

Your every day work watch
Great looks, super durable, classy and built well. With this watch, you have the luxury look with the bullet proof design. Cost is on the money for an automatic watch thats built to take a beating and look great doing it! The low light / no light visibility is incredible!! Highly recommended!

It's not as big as the measurements make you think .
The watch is very nice and looks good but it's not as big as the measurements make it seem . I have a large wrist just under 8 inches do I need a large watch so I thought the 45mm would be ok but it wears small . It could be because of the solid black case or the dial that's a little small but it just didn't look right on my wrist so I returned it . If you have a smaller wrist it would be perfect, it's solid and looks good . I also think $800 is a bit much .

Wouldn't buy again
Ive had the watch for 9 months. I loved it at first but about 4 months in it just completely quit working. I sent it in for warranty service (you have to pay $30 for that) they "fixed" it and sent it back about 3 weeks later. I'll be sending it off again soon as the watch still doesn't keep time accurately. Every few days I have to adjust it forward about 5 minutes. Pretty annoying for a watch that costs this much and it not do the one job it was created for. Unfortunately my warranty expires in December so after this service if it fails again the price of repair would certainly outweigh it's value...

Great watch but I am glad I did not PAY the full price off the luminox site. Luminox has it listed at over 1000.00
