DedaElementi Men's Cork Handlebar Tape

I bought this to put on my pista style drop bars on my Centurion.The bars look great and I'm happy with the tape so far.INSTALLATION: Simple as any other bar tape. One roll covered my whole drops with plenty of extra. I covered the logo quite a bit when wrapping them but even if I chose to leave the logo fully exposed, it'd be fine - it's not that contrasted, large, or obtrusive.COMFORT: I have cork tape on my other bars which is more cushiony but this tape is cushioned enough for better than average comfort and much better than I've had with cheaper tapes in the past.GRIP: Fantastic bare-handed or gloved. Doesn't get too slippery with sweat.LOOK: The white still looks fresh after quite a bit of riding and I think it'll stay looking fresh and new for quite a while longer. It doesn't absorb dirt and is easy to wipe clean, leaving it looking new longer. It's a "classic" kind of look which I really like on this particular bike.OVERALL: I obviously dig this tape and will buy it again even in other colours when I need to.

I discovered Deda tape while cycling in Germany. For some reason I don't see it often at shops in the U.S., but it has become my favorite tape. It has a clean look, is also easy to clean, and doesn't absorb sweat and become stinky. It is thin, but so what? Pearlizumi gloves have pads. One reviewer commented on the adhesive strips Deda uses. Yes, if your bar-tape skills are poor then you are going to probably make a mess. At the same time it is not necessary to use the adhesive. Properly wrapped, the Deda tape will stick either way.

I bought these after comparing many other white tapes and these I took a risk on. I wanted the texture, the weather durability and cleanliness of these but didnt want the logo.. I was able to wrap these hiding 95% of the silver lettering and they look very professional. I've gotten them soaked and they hold on as tight as ever, I've gotten chain crud on them and grease and they clean up easily with some rubbing alcohol. I would buy these again!

Not the worst thing ever but far from satisfactory. Does not stretch at all. Also, each roll is too short to completely wrap one side of your bars (assuming you have standard road drop bars). The inability to stretch leaves wonky lips around the curves of the drops. I'd recommend just going with vinyl tape if you want this look.

I loved this bar tape. It was my first time wrapping handlebars, but they turned out very nicely. It fit around the brakes well, even with those horizontal auxiliary brake levers. I used my own electrical tape instead of the provided strips. The ends stuck in well. After around one and a half years of use, and being often parked outside, it was expectedly grayed, but cleans easily with a damp towel, and doesn't look bad at all.

Nice-looking, durable tape. Just a bit slick and unpadded for going gloveless.

Super soft surface and cushion.It handles sweat well and dries very quick too.It's only been a few weeks but no stains so far.Taping was easy, but the sticky back is rather strong.It's a good thing, but when it's time to replace it, I am sure I'll be cursing Deda for making the sticky back so sticky.Good product.

I've dressed up my old Cannondale with a couple different colors of this tape- noticeably superior to the slightly cheaper gel tapes out there. Looks unmistakeably sharp, grip is good (except maybe during rain- not critically bad, but it suffers worse than gel does). All in all, when I replace my tape, I use this synthetic leather type. The brown and white colors look extra nice :).
