Super impressive spin time. My first so called competition yoyo. It's definitely not a toy. It's good for the money

The design of this is awesome.It has a nice H shape, thumb grind lip very stable, even good at horizontal play.This plays way above its price range not only in looks but in play aswell.

I have done a little throwing on and off for awhile. I decided to throw my old monometal one in my carryon when I took a trip this past weekend. I know what happened between then and the last time I used it but it was way too responsive for what I want to do. I know people say use plastic when you're learning. I did spend quite a bit of time with plastic yoyos and want something more substantial. For the price this thing feels really good, at least to a lowly beginner. It's cheap enough that if I bang it around too much I can just order another.

Not good for a beginner

I have been yo-yo’ing for the past 4 years (since I was 14) and have gone through tens of yo-yos... if not a hundred or so. This yo-yo does the job. You may have to get a new bearing for it as I have bought 2 of these in the past 2 weeks due to the first ones bearing getting stuck on something. Also, if you’re getting this yo-yo, get some yo-yo lube with it so you can keep the yo-yo running smooth... a single bottle of lube can last you around a year or so with daily use.
