Great quality, and super easy installation l, however make sure the surface you apply to is very clean or very smooth, the adhesive did not stick to my 2003 dodge ram 1500's dash very well but it did to my wife's 2016 dodge charger s without issue. I haven't removed it and amazon wants me to talk about removal, I have no idea, I'd assume just like anything else it probably leaves a residue. It makes your phone visible wherever you have it, and even comes with metal pieces to adhere to the magnet. The magnet is exceptionally strong without hurting the device, I drive an armored truck and those things bounce like no one's business. My phone has never fallen off the magnet so absolutely astonishing performance. easy to remove your device from it, and it's nice and small so when not in use you can see everything. Not to mention the small base makes it easy to adhere to even small areas.

[UPDATE June 21, 2023]I changed my review from 4 stars to 5 because if used directly on the metal disc it holds very strongly. I was hoping I could put the disc on my phone and then put the phone case on and still use it. The magnet is not quite strong enough to hold in that case, but if you attach the metal disc to the outside of the case (if there's room), then it holds very well. Original review follows:Installation was easy and the magnetic base holds the phone securely over bumps etc *IF* I remove the phone case, but I'd rather not have to do that every time I want to use it in the car. With the case on the phone (it's a larger phone, the TCL 10L with 6" screen) falls off pretty easily. Maybe the base could be larger? The magnets are strong but could stand being even stronger. It doesn't say what kind of magnets they are using, but I suspect they are not neodymium. Neodymium magnets are crazy strong. Like one the size of a quarter can support over 100 pounds.

These have been a life changer for me. I drive out of town a lot and my phone always fell down leaving me without directions. Yes I do have navigation in my car, but for some reason I love the phone. The holder had great adhesive tape that was sturdy and took well to my dash on my car. My phone stays in place and I can place it where I need to to allow great visibility. Great value for the money. It has worked amazingly well for me and my needs!

I'm very limited in where I can put a phone holder, so this small footprint is good, and it actually sticks to the dash. I returned a similar item because the installation instructions said it wouldn't stick to the leatherette surface. The magnet isn't as strong as I expected or as strong I've had in the parking, but it works. Good value especially since its a two pack.Edited to add that the adhesive came off the dash today after a little over a month of use.

Iknow you chose 3M adhesive for the mount but before I could get the phone on it the first time it fell off the smooth, weklkl cleaned plastic, very flat radio frame. Just so frustrated. I will try some other adhesive but this first impression was just not good. If the mount cant stay on the dash, what good is it? Do better.

This magnetic phone holder is the best one I have used, and I’ve used many. It’s not your typical round type phone holder that’s all black and rubber covered. This has a nice chrome edge detail around the oblong shape that looks very nice in the car. The adhesive works very well to adhere the holder to the vehicle. The magnet works very well with the self stick metal plate on the inside of my phone case. The price is great for 2 of these and I was able to install the 2nd one in my wife’s car.

Sounded like a great idea in theory swapping out my locking phone holder for this magnetic one but for my car dash panel I need the thing to stick out a little further to give me more range of movement. My dash is sloped at an angle and I cant get the exact viewing angle I would like because the bottom of the phone will hit the dash components. Also feel the magnet should be a square shape and not the rectangle shape that it is. The metal plates they include to put between the phone and the case don't work well at all. My wife has that setup and her phone drops if she turns to fast because the magnet isn't strong enough to secure the metal through the phone case. Cases with built in metal pads on the backside of phone cases are either round or squared but most of them are square shaped. That's how I'm using mine in my vehicle. Depending how you have this orientated when you tap near the edge of your phone if you tap too hard it will start flipping up off the magnet slightly. The square metal backing on my phone is wider than the narrow length of the magnet so its not even getting full contact when it mounts. I haven't had my phone fall off the magnet but I feel a square backing would always allow 100 % contact with the magnet to make it stronger and sturdier. When driving just changing songs or tapping anything on my phone will cause my phone to slide around. If you have a super thin cheap plastic phone case these magnets may work for you but my wife has a thick durable case and mine just as thick but has the built in square metal that swivels 360 degrees surrounded by the kickstand and we don't like em.

I am very pleased at how well these work. I'm a truck driver. I hit all kinds of bumps potholes all day long and my phone never fell off of the cellphone holder. I am amazed how well this works. I recommend this to anybody.I just bought. For more of them to give them out to family members that's how well I like please
