Very small and light canteen stove.
Small stove, but can only burn heat tabs to cook.

Happy with my purchase
I picked this up to use hexamine tabs to make tea while camping. After watching a ton of videos on DIY alcohol stoves, I decided to make a stove from a mint tin and carbon felt as a wick. It fits perfectly in this base. I used it several times so far and I’m very pleased with the sturdiness and height. My water boils pretty fast and I don’t have to deal with soot. My cup fits perfectly on top and nests well to fit in my canteen pouch. It doesn’t add much weight. I would buy this again, but I don’t think I’ll need to. This seems built to last.

A great Canteen cup stand.
I wish I could get another one! Let's get on the supply chain issue, Amazon.

Great low profile stove
This solid fuel stove is very well made. I got the stainless steel version. I believe the slight weight penalty will be worth it, over time. It deploys quickly & easily. Solid fuel tablets tend to leave a bit of nasty residue. I simply lined the bottom of mine with aluminum foil. There's plenty of room to burn 2 fuel tablets...whether it is Esbit or Coghlan's(easiest to get). A canteen cup sits on this stove, just right. I have several USGI canteen cups. With handles folded up tight, the USGI canteen cup fits neatly into the stove. It also tucks away neatly into a USGI molle canteen/utility pouch. It can't really be used as an impromptu twig burner, but is a great low profile solid fuel burner.

Makes the older GI issue stove more efficient
When I use the canteen cook system, I’ve always wanted something better than the stove that one can buy from old GI issue. I found this stove and gave it a try. It’s small enough to still fit I the newest canteen covers and I found that it’s easier to remove than the older style. When using, found that the canteen cup sat closer to the heat source and heated more efficiently. The negative part is you still need a windscreen which the older stove had.Through experimenting, I found this foldable stove will beneath the older GI style stove. With a little shaping the older stove makes an excellent windscreen. And, both will still nest around a canteen.Overall, this a very good alternative stove that makes this setup more efficient.

The most compact fuel tab stove I've found
It's well-made and small. It easily fits in a surplus canteen pouch and fits on my surplus canteen. It is only for fuel tabs. I like mine.

If in doubt, buy it
Wasn't sure about this with no reviews and a different design but I am glad I bought it. I've had trouble finding a stove to fit my canteen cup with the fold down handle and this fits the bill perfectly. Doesn't add hardly any bulk, the whole unit still fits in my pouch. I can even fit 4 esbit cubes in the stove and still nest the cup into it. I might make the air slot a little wider to accommodate my fold down handle but other than that the fit is perfect. Can't wait to do a burn test this weekend.

Simple and effective.
Got two of these to add another option for my canteen set up.Works well with the Esbit tablets and Pyropac jell in a 2.5" round tin.Fits in the USGI Molle canteen pouches and Helikon-Tex E&E pouches I have.It does raise the canteen & cup in the pouches about 1/4" over the old Canteen Shop stoves I have. Not a real problem for me.Quite happy with them.Thank you.
