I purchased this to use with bookbinding - rebinding an old Bible. It's just what I wanted - nice and thin with a gorgeous finish and feels very durable. I'm very satisfied with this!

I used this to cover a steering wheel and make a shift boot for a car.First the pros: It's very soft, supple, and is decently workable with a good stretch.Now the cons:* Utterly lacks durability. The surface rubs off somehow? Wheel was great when I first finished it, but quickly started showing wear. The black leather shows the gray under-surface.* Mine had a weird split in the leather, such that it was almost like there were two layers.All in all, if you want to practice working with thinner leather, it's good, but if you're making anything significant, I would not trust this. Do not waste your precious hours with this if it's anything but practice!

This is better leather then I expected for the price. It appears to be properly tanned and arrived quickly. Sheep skin is a soft leather that is great for garments and craft projects.

This Leather is almost paper thin. If you're looking for thicker leather, I would recommend looking somewhere else. It looks somewhat shiny. It didn't look like that in the photos. Not what I expected.

Beautifully soft, supple hide. Glove quality. My Fiskars sewing shears cut through it like butter (I had reservations about whether it would). Will buy more when the time comes.

Soft and supple best describes these hides (I bought two). I'm very, very happy with this purchase.
