Yes, as others have pointed out, the map is HUGE ... much too unwieldy to use in a car as it is. Obviously, being very large, it does provide significant detail - you can't really have it both ways. Since our trip will cover only the fjords in the Bergen area, I will just cut out the portion that I need. It will then be more practical to use. My main objection to it is that the three map series of Norway was not well thought out from a typical vacation perspective. Since many vacations to Norway are focused on the Bergen area, it would make sense that a significant area south and north of Bergen would be included. Unfortunately, this is not the case. Most of the area to the south of Bergen is included on a different map, thus requiring the purchase of the southern region map as well. Perhaps the marketing department saw this as a good way to sell additional maps.

Map is gigantic.. not sure this is what I needed! Internet ended up working better..

The scale of this map provided substantial additional detail about rural roads in Norway and greatly enhanced our ability to tour Norway's roads by car. We also have a smaller scale map (1:1,500,000) that was not as useful, but was much easier to handle. This map is so large as to be somewhat unwieldy, which is the reason for four stars instead of five.

I was excited to see a map available that included Trondheim specifically. If it says it includes a city, you'd think it would have the surrounding area as well. On this map, Trondheim is at the very, very top so you're fine if you plan to go south but not north. So partly useless for me. And it is very big and hard to read. Even with the size, the print is still tiny.

scale of 1:25000 makes it very easy to plan a route and follow roads. lots of other useful information on map too.
