Stinky, but handy.
I bought this bag specifically for hunting small varmints like ground squirrels. I have found I can fit 500+ rounds and 2 water bottles in the main part, a rangefinder in the lower outside pocket and plenty of magazines for my Savage 17HMR in the top outside pocket. It is pretty comfortable with that much weight in it. It stinks though. It has a very chemical smell to it, as others have mentioned, and after washing it 3 times, the smell still hasn't left. I will try leaving it outside in a garbage bag of pine branches to see if that helps. I would buy it again, but the smell only allows me to give it 4 stars because it is SO strong

Nice Leather and Buckles, but FRAYS LIKE ...
I bought this bag about a year ago for $154, it has really nice leather, however... Whatever the fabric is between the leather is fraying like crazy... it looks like a harry leather bag... so disappointed. I barely used it and by the time I realized how bad it actually is, well it was too late to return it so I shelved it 6 months ago and got a cheaper and better leather bag to replace it.What a shame too, because they strong leather and nice metal connections... but some of cheapest crappiest harry @$$ liner you can find so it looks like crap.I am going to try and re-purpose this bag into a bike pannier after I shave the hair off it... If that works out, I'll upgrade the 1star to 2stars - only because i found a use for this furry leather bag.

Bought this for my husband. He had one, but saw this and thought it might be nice for him. Haven't seen the other one for a long time! Great storage, very sturdy

Great practical yet stylish buy for a great price!
I love this bag. It was just the right size for what I wanted and it transcends both casual and business. I got it primarily for my business trips and have found myself using it daily now to house my work documents. Price point was good, craftsmanship excellent and the fact it can me converted to a backpack was even greater.
