This item was horrible. This tripod stood probably right below my hip. Certainly not the best tripod for a wig mannequin head. It was not sturdy enough or tall enough.

I purchased the 45”. With the leg extensions the base opens wide making it sturdy. You could use without the extensions making it 40”, the base would not open as wide, it could tip over. It does come with extra rubber boots for the legs, to use either way. It is metal and good quality. I would buy again.

Super strong and easey to use wig stand ! If your looking for one go with this one! I've go some by some other company and had to replace to of the setting bolts

Often times when I purchase items like this from Amazon I get the sense that it is used. For example nicks and scratches that could only occur from regular use. Also it seems as if it was a little dusty at one point and cleaned off. I also found a cat hair. This all leads me to believe that the original purchaser kept the packaging and resold it after they were done with it. It works and it is what I expected it to be besides this mysterious quality.

Not secure. Only good for sitting while styling.
