Exactly as I expected...Yummy..easy..and always a crowd pleaser. The book is easy to understand , I admit I have not made many recipes,if this is like her other "sweet Maria's " I shouldn't have any problems!

The recipes in this little cook book braught back so many memories of the lovely, simple sweets my Nona used to make. She's been gone now for over 50 years, but the memories are as vivid as . . . .yesterday.Barbara S Melanson

I read the book cover to cover & wished with all my heart there was one genuine New York (East Coast restaurant here In Grand Rapids, MI like what my mom & her sisters cooked. Made extremely hungry and ready to try some of the recipes. You will drool like I did

Great recipes and easy to follow instructions. Most of my favorite treats.

This book presupposes baking experience and tools. Some very good recipes and ideas - a good read if nothing else.Do not start here if you are a novice baker; you will be frustrated.

Tried at least three recipes over the Christmas season and was not disappointed in the results. Easy to follow instructions.
