I'm giving these 5 stars, even though they don't 100% keep the smell inside. Why? They are affordable and perfect when used with mason jars.The bags are a good size, and can be re-used a bit - though you'll want to check them for holes or tears, obviously. While I think they keep most of the smell in, the longer you have something in them, the more you open the bag, the more you fuss with it, the greater chance the smell will leak a bit.There's a bloodhound in my house, and I need to hide his snacks or he'll find them and eat them all at once, leaving no snacks for anyone else. (bloodhounds have no self control) So, what I do is put the snacks in these bags. Then I put these bags in mason jars. Then I put a little activated charcoal in those jars. Voila! I have foiled the bloodhound. He hasn't yet found the snacks before it's time to eat them. If you, too, have a bloodhound who sniffs out their snacks, then give this a try.

Excellent quality product. Seals well. Light proof. Almost exactly what I needed. Unfortunately bags were smaller than I thought (my fault for not checking the dimensions). Soon after I purchased the bags I received an email from the company asking me how I liked the product, if I had any problems and to contact them if I did, etcetera. I emailed them about my issue (not really expecting much of a response) and asked if I could return them and trade up for larger bags. That same day (I think only a couple hours later) they emailed me back apologizing and informing me that they did not have any larger bags at this time but were sorry that they weren't what I had expected and did not want me to have to pay for a product that wasn't "perfect" for me. So they told me to keep the bags (hoped Id find a use for them) and refunded me my money! Kudos Impresa Products! Now that's customer service! Thank you. I look forward to future business with your company.

Yup, it works. I'm actually using this not to hide my stash or to keep herbs fresh. I'm actually using it to pack out TP when I go backpacking. Leave No Trace! And it works great for my purpose.

I just bought these to hide the smell of that devils lettuce and let me tell you, it does the job! I even stored my pipe in a second bag and cant smell anything!

These were excellent bags. I bought them to store used toilet paper while backpacking. They concealed any smell and kept you from seeing what in there. They are small lightweight and easy to pack and carry. For what I used them for they were great.

Not air tight so not smell proof. They were priced really well which raised a flag from the start, but once I test one, well I found out why. I really just wanted something that worked, so went a different route. If you want bags for privacy, these are amazing. If you want bags to be smell proof, I personally did, and would suggest you go a different route.

Whatever you're planning on using these for, just be clear that they most certainly do not prevent odors from escaping. I can still smell things I put in, and as a scientist, I'm super careful not to cross-contaminate, using gloves and one person to hold the bag open while the other fills it up with the materials, keeping things away from the zipper folds, etc. etc.. If it's pilot error, then it must take Neil Armstrong. I've even double-bagged and that's at least a little less noticeable. But if you place the sealed bags in a ziploc and a day or two later open the ziploc, you're presented with a very strong odor of the items in the bags.

I was getting tired of my desk drawers having such a nauseating pungent odor emitting from them. I have a bionic nose. Ladies, did you get a bionic smeller when you were pregnant? Well, mine never left. It's my super-power lol. Even with my "tobacco" in pill bottles ... the smell was just too much. Well, these ziplock pouches seem to hold down the odor to about 90% gone. "I" can still smell a tiny bit of odor. But it's great for storage. I'm happy with the odor reduction!.

Adding this is one of the top 10 for preppers for winter, and pandemic.I put in freezer (vacuum seal) for the years.
