Dark gray and wood headboard.
This is a very well-built, solid headboard. I needed one with black upholstery, but this one did not come in that color. I took the chance and ordered it with the idea to recover, and found that it was very easy to unscrew the frame on the back and pop out the upholstered piece. I simply bought the fabric I wanted and recovered it to match some other Amazon pieces that I bought for my sons dorm room. Now, everything matches. I have not put the legs on it, but I wanted to post a picture to show how easy it was and how great it turned out.
