At first, I bought these gloves as hopefully an alternative to bulky welding gloves for Mig welding, but soon after realized that they were not meant for that, at the time the photo showed a person welding so I naturally assumed they were for welding, and gave the product a poor review! Immediately Silach contacted me, and with the best customer service ever, offered a refund.. I mentioned that was not necessary because I would use the gloves in other work shop applications.. Silach then offered to try two other pairs of gloves of higher strength and I am very happy with the result. These new gloves are very cut resistant and can stand some heat! They are not meant for welding, but they are great all around shop gloves!A+ Customer Service!!

Updating the update; I'd say it is worth ordering anything from this seller because if you don't like what I got and even w/o request they will go thru more than mere motions to make you feel like you got value for your money... Never seen anything like these guys....Orig. ReviewIn terms of heat protection at least they are quite poor. They are loosely woven and small sparks will burn you easily. I haven't tested them for their ability to withstand abrasion or cutting so I'm giving 2 stars. Not even red hot metal scorched them visibly and heat was apparent. They probably work fine as potholders and such but above a few hundred degrees not so much*I wasn't impressed with abrasion resistance considering even slight contact with angle grinder...Add ademndum optionin 5 stars for customer service...

Outstanding utility gloves...very cut resistant...good heat resistance..however not contact heat...outstanding flexibility..and as i work in a cold kitchen...these are particularly warm

I have large hands and gloves were a nice fit.
