My Little Sound Book: Musical Instruments

This was a gift for a baby shower. My brother is a band geek so this book is perfect for him to read to his little one. Didn't have any issues with the buttons like I've read in other posts.

Beautiful book that’s great for the smallest to older toddlers. The sound is great and realistic and not one of those annoying “toy sound”. Buttons work well and at the same time not so easy to press that it plays with every touch of the book.

Buttons are easy to press, loud, and sound nice. Each button plays a little bit of a classical song. The last page has photos of the real instruments, which is nice. This is a thoughtfully arranged book for young children.

A terrible disappointment. The batteries are there, the thing should work, and it does not. Amazon refunded my cash, which is wonderful, but I really, really wanted the book for my grandson.

I loved this book and the music, however; my 1 year old is having trouble pushing the buttons himself. There seems to be a lot of pressure you must place on them in order to make the music turn on.I know him, and he will figure it out! But it's frustrating him right now. I will still hold the torch for this book!

The sound buttons are difficult even for adults to press. My 2-year old tried to push but couldn't generate the needed force. I helped him by pushing on his finger - it required so much force it felt as if I were crushing his little finger. I ended up cutting holes in the board pages over the buttons to expose the button mechanisms. Now he can push them himself!

Amazingly made and great sound. My 15 month old twins love it. I will be from this line of books again. Scholastic book very similar to this one was awful quality.

My 3-year old granddaughter is learning to listen after getting cochlear implants, and loves playing the "instruments" over and over.
