Great for small motor skills

My three-year-old daughter loves this puzzle! The first time was really challenging for her because of the way some of the animals are rotated sideways or upside down, but she caught on quickly. She enjoys working the puzzle, and she has fun playing with the animals too. All except one of the pieces (a bird on one leg) are designed so that they stand up and can be played with. So it’s a fun, multi-use puzzle :)

I bought a  similar one  that he really enjoys, so I know this one will be a hit. This puzzle set is designed to help promote logical thinking and problem-solving skills.I am wondering if there are multiple solutions to this puzzle as there are for the  other puzzle  I ordered for him. Puzzle play promotes critical thinking skills and instills a sense of pride with completion.The frame is double sided, with one side having the outlines of the puzzle pieces and the other side is blank. I like working the blank side.At the time I ordered this puzzle, it was competitively priced at $19. I am happy with this order and my grandson is too. I received this product for free as part of the Amazon Vine program in exchange for an honest review. My 4 year old grandson loves Tetris style puzzles and - even though I knew this was going to be pretty simple for him, I ordered it anyway. He really enjoyed the puzzle and played with it for a long time. It's nice that the layout for each piece is outlined on the board of the puzzle. The puzzle pieces are well made and durable and so is the platform. The puzzle pieces can stand up on their own as well. My grandson liked standing them up and pretending they were in a jungle before putting the puzzle together. I highly recommend this puzzle.

Nicely made puzzle for toddler

Really neat idea for a puzzle, but sloppy execution. The pieces don’t fit snuggly on the board, there is a lot of extra space so they shift around quite a bit. All of the features on the animals are thin stickers not paint. So any part of the stickers that got wrapped around the edges just flaked off and made a mess all over the other pieces. A lot of pieces were like that, so I had some work to do cleaning up this puzzle before it could be played with. I don’t have a lot of faith that the stickers will last longer than paint would. Overall, I really love the design…I just think that this puzzle could have been better quality. I don’t recommend giving this as a gift, because you don’t know the condition of the pieces until you open the box. And you shouldn’t have to clean up a present before you gift it.
