I bought this to send when my elementary-aged son wants a hot lunch and it works great for keep hot foods hot from morning all the way until lunchtime! He's even complained once or twice that things have been TOO hot, but I'd rather have that than have things slip into the temperature "danger zone" for food safety. As long as you preheat it with boiling water ahead of time, this thermos does the job! We have also found that this 12-oz size is perfect for a 6-year-old boy's appetite. Good product!

Great size. Food piping hot at school lunch

I’m so happy with this purchase! It’s the perfect size for my daughter’s lunchbox, is definitely leak-proof, and keeps her food piping hot until lunch time! I also love that is had a wide mouth so she can easily eat from the container. I always pour boiling water into the container, close the lid, and let it set while I’m prepping her lunch. It primes the container so that it keeps the food hotter for longer. I’ve packed everything from mac n’ cheese, to chili, and even chicken noodle soup in here without a single leak, even though the container is on its side most of the day. I’d also like to mention that while the contents inside are literally boiling hot, the outside is still cool to the touch. Very neat and a good investment so far!

I packed my chili at around 7am, and ate it in the 11am hour, and the food was still warm. Love that no plastic touches anything. Highly recommend.

My 9 year old uses this for hot lunches, and says it stays perfectly warm. Hot soup did not leak. It washes easily - silicone wrap slides off and back on super easy. I was reluctant that any thermos would work for us but glad I chose this. Side note: I like that the red silicone will hide any red sauce stains.

As it is - we are a Lunchbots family. This thermos is great because the top is wide and is very convenient. It keeps the food pipping hot. I put boiled water inside while preparing the food to go in and it works even better! My daughter loved this and since the colors match the Gators - she will be taking it to college with her! The best part is that even though the top is plastic - no plastic touches the food! It is also very durable - I dropped it by accident and it was fine - not even a dent! Highly recommend another great Lunchbots product!

I bought this for my grandson to use for his school lunches. On the first day of using it, he was so happy to tell me his corn dog bites were still warm! That's a win-win for me!

Ich hab für den Kindergarten einen Behälter gebraucht, der das Essen warm hält, bis die Kids mittags essen.Ich hatte einen anderen von einer anderen Firma, hat leider nix getaugt. Dann habe ich diesen hier bestellt und er hat die bewährte Lunchbots Qualität. Wenn ich morgens das heisse Essen um 6.30 Uhr abfülle, dampft es noch, wenn meine Tochter den Thermobehälter um 12.30 öffnet. Sie muss dann erstmal pusten, bis sie essen kann.Auch lässt er sich problemlos in der Spülmaschine reinigen. Absolut empfehlenswert!!!!!

This is just so good! I use this to carry warm food to work. The insulation is perfect because after 8 hours, my food is as warm as in the early morning. I have bought more of these.
