Does it work...I'm not sure but something did.
One of our young cats was using the litter tray but at the same time on a daily basis, he was also peeing in a couple of specific places in our house. In his case, it was a form of territory marking and often all it takes is for a young cat to be neutered to solve that problem. He was neutered which did help but not as much as we'd hoped so I bought a small bottle of this spray and it really did seem to help as the peeing stopped then I ran out of product and the peeing returned so this time I bought this bigger bottle and I'm happy to say that even though in the end I have only used up half the bottle the peeing outside of the litter tray has stopped. Was it because of the neutering or the spray I think it was a combination of both. In the end, it's worth trying. The spray itself has no smell at all although both of my cats could smell it. As for the plug-ins, it's suggested that you don't place them where the spray will be blocked and it was much easier for me to quickly spritz the 2 main areas he peed in rather than having a plug-in somewhere not close enough for it to work.I do believe it's also highly flammable so do not put it near anything such as a scented candle.

Use for new cat
Sprayed cat carrier, bedding etc. When acquiring a rescue cat. Hard to say if the spray was more or less effective as I used the room diffuser at the same time.

Very impressive calmer for stressed kitties!
My partner and I recently decided to rehome a rescue cat at a local cat rescue centre, and ended up bringing a beautiful four year old tabby boy called Ted back home with us to stay. We decided to rescue him in particular because, while we could've went for one of the more confident, purring, friendly mogs in the centre, he looked so sad, stressed and terrified that we just couldn't have left him there. Ted was a stray that had been caught in Penicuik and he appeared to be a very gentle soul.We weren't too sure how well he was going to adapt to living in our house, but it became apparent the moment we opened the cat carrier and let him out - as he shot out of the carrier like a greased otter and disappeared below my bedroom wardrobe - that he was a very stressed and timid cat.The word 'timid', in fact, is perhaps not very appropriate, for Ted was far beyond that. He was absolutely terrified of us, which would imply that he has been abused by someone at some point in his life, so my partner and I decided to investigate ways to try and get him to relax a bit. We initially bought the Feliway plug-in diffusers, which made him relax a little, but it wasn't until we bought one of these sprays that we saw the biggest change in him.Prior to using the spray, it was absolutely impossible to get close to him. Even when putting bowls of food out for him, he ran away or vanished beneath the wardrobe. We sprayed some of this stuff in the area just in front of the wardrobe where he normally lurks and the rug close to it and we began to see him start to relax. It was subtle at first, but there was definitely an improvement. We've had him almost six weeks now, and the changes in him are very evident now. He's hiding beneath the wardrobe less often and is spending a lot of time sprawling around on the area we sprayed and the hallway. We've still not been able to touch him (that's going to take some time), but we can occasionally get surprisingly close to him. For the past couple of nights, I've even been able to play with him using one of those 'mouse on a string' toys, so he's slowly but surely starting to trust us. We spray a few puffs of this stuff on the same areas every morning and we're very. very impressed by how effective it has been.Would definitely recommend!

Great product, really reduces feline stress, but be prepared for the price!
Feliway is one of those iconic products that is recommended throughout the country, both by vets and by cat owners. It is useful for making cats feel less stressed in a variety of different situations. We have a multi-cat household so have the diffuser on subscribe and save. However, the spray was recommended to me as a useful way of calming down stress hotspots, such as near food bowls. I’ve been using this for a month now and I can honestly say it seems to have calmed down the stress problems we were having in the house. The only problem is that it is so expensive. It comes in a small little bottle which, if you have several stress areas in your house, doesn’t last very long at all. So yes, I would definitely recommend it for stressed cats (after making sure with a vet that the problem isn’t physical first), but it’s a shame that it’s so expensive.

No more cat peeing
Was told by vet to get it as my cat was peeing on my bed all the time. They said to spray in my room and problem should go away. Was a little hesitant as it was pricey. But it Really worked. No more cat pee!

Reliable product.
I have used this product for some time and found it so easy. I have two stressed rescue cats so found it great to use on their bedding and in the pet carrier if a vets visit is pending. It definitely works just a couple of sprays and let it settle before exposing the cats to it. They do not mind the scent once it has settled and appear to find it reassuring. Personally I prefer to use the spray than try to push tablets down an already stressed cat.
