This product was really good and then one time I was outside not in the wind I calibrated it and it just flew off I looked at some of the reviews and they said that they got a new one for free just by customer service so I’m writing a review to tell you that their customer service is awesome! And maybe you should buy one and if it flies off like minded then just contact customer service now be there in like three days or four.

I had a lot of fun with this drone. I really appreciate having two batteries and each one lasts a little longer than I expected.The camera quality is what you can expect from a drone in this price range, and I would say it is probably better than I could have hoped for in this package. This drone is very light weight. It comes with tools, extra screws, props, guards, and even a carrying bag.The remote is easy to use, the flip feature is unique for a drone of this size, and I found it entertaining.The camera is fixed on this model, but it is simple to get enough tilt on the drone to get good photos.Overall, I really like this drone and would totally recommend it.

My 10 year old has been begging for a drone for awhile now so "Santa" got him this unit for Christmas. We kept it in the box waiting on nice weather, so now that spring is here we charged it up the other day and got excited for epic disappointment. I went through all the steps to set it up, but could not get a wifi connection to utilize the mobile app. I tried 3 different phones (2 new models even tried an old S6 galaxy) 2 laptops and my desktop but no luck. I noticed tapping the side of the camera there was a red LED inside that would intermittently light up then go out.Much to the disappointment of the lack of app functionality, we took it outside to test it with the remote. The drone did take off well and hover which was impressive. It would raise and lower elevation as expected, but no matter what I did with the joysticks on the remote, it would not turn, would not move forward or backward. I tried the button on the back to record video and take pictures, but there was nothing captured on the sd card once we retrieved it after it finally decided to fly off to the right and not respond to the handheld control.My total overall evaluation of this unit is 2 out of 10. The two stars are for the fact that it powered up and actually flew, but nothing else worked on this unit. Also the support link is 404, so purchase this at your own risk!

its an ok drone i up until it decides to all of a sudden after you change the battery and prepare for take off(calibrating it) then take off and try to gather control to go out of control basically because no matter with me trying to land it it keeps gaining altitude quick enough to go out of range so it disconnects from your phone then all together stops responding to the remote so even though I didn't really make this story short I lost sight of the drone because of course it went towards the only path if woods in the area and gets caught in a tree somewhere I still haven't found it and it's been a couple weeks (and just an fyi for everyone that is wondering there was admittedly a slight breeze and no the breeze didn't pick up while the drone just basically shot up into the sky faster that I could gain control of it even if I did have perfect communication with the drone so if you wanna buy this drone the one piece of advice I could give you would be buy a wifi extender of some kind because you don't have much range and the app for it has alot of flaws

Great drone when it works. Mine failed after about a dozen crashes and dog attacks. Ended up failing due to faulty solder joint on motherboard for one prop motor. Still would recommend. Motor still works btw. I will try to fix.

We received the drone and everything arrived as advertised. We struggled to pair the drone camera with our mobile devices. So, we emailed Potensic's customer service and they were on the ball. We attempted multiple times to get the drone to connect but were unable. They sent a new drone - without us even asking - and we were able to get the new drone connected following their emailed instructions. Their customer service was TOP NOTCH. Very responsive, professional and proactive.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this because I always wanted one. Not the most expensive, definitely just right for what I was looking for. I have flown it a few times now. Video is good for what it is, and it’s fun to play with. I highly recommend before spending $800-$1200 on a expensive one.
