I was a little disappointed when they arrived - the box/packaging looks a little "cheap" and they were even smaller than I thought. However, they felt pretty well made (not light and flimsy) and we put some batteries in and tested them out and they work great. We haven't pushed the distance limit, but my 9 and 12 year old kids play with them around our half-acre property with multiple obstacles in the way (houses, vehicles, outbuildings, etc) and they can hear each other very well - no static. I am very impressed and I would definitely buy them again.

Grand kids used abused and enjoyed these. When it is all said and done I wished I had spent a little more money and purchased larger models and bought four instead of two. These two way radios really do come in handy with kids and rural settings. If you can emphasize to the kids not to talk over each other and stop keying the mike so much these can be a great tool. It was amusing and interesting watching 3-6 year olds taking the conversation so serious when we introduced the terms over, Rodger, and over and out.

Decent. We use them when our kids go out and ride bikes in the neighborhood to get a hold of them and check in. They work well for the purpose, but the blow through batteries like crazy. We get one use out of them and then have to replace the batteries again. Going to try rechargeable batteries to save some money.

These work well for the purpose I got them. My wife has Parkinson's and is confined to a wheelchair so I got them for her to call me if I'm working in the yard. As I said, they work for that purpose but battery life is short. Some times I get less than 6-8 hours out of them and that's with almost no use other than being turned on and laying on the table or clipped on my belt.

These arrived on time and as described. Very good size for little hands. WAY too many buttons for small children and never could get them to work correctly. By day two the power button broke which means the unit no longer turns on making the pair useless.

These little walkie talkies are perfect for our six year old nephew! Fits his hands & are crystal clear! Thank you!

Fun for hours. I bought these for my nephews. They were easy to set up, and begin using immediately once the batteries were installed. We went to the park and the kids played for hours running around and playing a cleaver game of manhunt using the walkie talkies. The units are small and perfect for tiny hands and pockets. The clips on the back of the units came in handy as well to hook onto pockets when they needs both hands. We still have to read the manual to figure out all of the features, but so far so good.

Took these on a cruise to keep up with my spouse. They worked okay for this purpose. My husband is a go body and I like to hang out in the cabin. These walkie talkies allowed us to meet at certain places and times on our huge cruise ship.
