It's not a full length 20" total, 2" above ankles. The material is thick, not so good for a hot summer. Very comfortable, stay up. I love it, wish they are full length. I'm 5'5"

Size up if you want a Looser fit and keep your regular size if you want it tighter they do have quite a bit of stretch
