I have used these for about 2 years now. I have them on a cabin out in the woods outside of Buffalo NY. Most of them are under my sofit so they are protected from rain and snow. Others I have over the doors of 2 different sheds. They work great as motion lights. Lights up as I walk down my driveway in the dark. Motion sensor is sensitive and works great. The 10 pack is a great value. As long as they get enough light during the day, the charging works perfect. I can walk around all night long and they work great. They have lasted longer than I thought they would. I will be buying again. I have bought 20 and so far and 1 out of 20 does not work. I can live with that. So 5 stars from me

I started buying these two years ago to put along my fence in the back yard for when the dogs are out at night. They don't illuminate much but look great when they come on at dusk so I bought more to go along the fence further. My wife like the first twenty I put up and since they still work perferctly after TWO YEARS, we bought 20 more to finish along the rest of the fence (we have a pretty large yard).They come on at dusk, stay on all night long, and increase in brightness (temporarily) when motion is detected. That helps us keep track of where the dogs are wandering and, sometimes, remind us that we aren't alone when the occasinoal opossum or critter passes through.Any solar product that is this price that lasts at least two years is great in my book!

I don’t know about the longevity of these lights. But they have lasted through sun when and rain. They continue to shine brightly stay charged, and the motion sensors work very well. I have sent bought a second set after testing the first set. It’s been about two months and all are going strong!Update :it’s been several months now and these lights are working great. They have been rain soaked with no issues at all. They come on at night and the motion sensor to increase brightness is still working too. I’m happy with my purchase and recommend this particular brand.Update: it’s been a little over one year and these lights are still working as well as day one. As long as there is sunlight in the day there is light at night. Now if you have consecutive overcast or rainy days you will not have reliable or visible light at night. Overall these lights were an excellent purchase!!Update: It’s been two years since I first purchased these lights. They are still working great. Excellent value for the money. They came in handy when I had a power outage. Since they are outside on the fence, when the power went out in the house I was like I’ll grab the lights off the fence. I now had light indoors! :-)

Bright lights. Sensors work. Sticky pads make installation easy. Quality is good so far. Time will tell how sturdy they are.

These are great little solar lights. I originally purchased them to attach to fence posts in my yard. I have used them everywhere! I've used them on my fence, on the outside as well as inside my house. They're pretty reliable. As with most solar items is if you have too many days of rain, they may not last long. I would recommend placing them in areas receiving maximum sun and before permanently fixing them anywhere to be aware of seasonal changes in light so you get year round max exposure. Great purchase! I probably don't need more but I want to buy more!

After reading several reviews mentioning that some of the lights did not work, I was apprehensive with my order. Upon arrival, I unpackaged the lights (packaging was very well done). Installation was simple and quick. The biggest issue I had was determining what settings were in effect for each light, as my 5 year old "helper" pushed some buttons as he was handing lights to me. After charging for a full day, all lights worked. Upon tweaking settings, all lights worked perfectly. I use setting 2, which has the lights all on at 30% brightness until motion is detected, at which time they go to full brightness for about 20 seconds. They offer enough light to meet my needs, without overwhelming. The picture I include was taken at dawn, so it is tough to gauge the full brightness of the lights, but you can get a general idea. The only nitpick I would have is that I wish these lights could be adjusted to stay on a bit longer when motion was detected. Overall though, I am completely satisfied thus far.

I purchased these lights to illuminate my dock at night. When I first installed them about 10 months ago, they looked great! They stayed lit for most of the night unless it had been cloudy during the day. Even then they still stayed lit for 6-7 hours.About 4 months ago, I noticed the solar battery face was becoming discolored (frosted). Not long after I noticed the discoloration, I also noticed that if the day was overcast, many of the lights wouldn't come on or they would quit after an hour. Last night, an hour after sunset only 2 of the lights were working. We'd had rain that morning and partly sunny skies for about 7 hours before sunset.I have other solar lights of a similar style from another manufacturer. Some of them are 5 years old and still work just fine so I'm disappointed these are showing signs of failure after only 10 months.
