This timer is not as easy to use straight out of the box, read the enclosed instructions. BUT give it time and you will see the benefits of buying this one. Its half the price of others, does more and once practised at it is easy to use and more beneficial to own one. Hope this helps, a lot of the bad reviews are people lacking patience and don't use instructions, I suppose we're all guilty of that at sometime!

I hesitated buying this as some reviewers said it was far too complicated. I think it's great as it packs a punch! There's a clock, alarm, count up timer and 2 count down timers (i.e. set 2 timers at the same time). You can turn off the sound which is great when you are configuring and don't like the sound when you press a button, unfortunately it also turns off the alarm/count down finished sound which is annoying. The sound is not grating unlike some other similar timers i've tried though so it's ok.Something that confused me was that when you first plug in a battery, a counter starts going up. It's because it's starting the clock - just adjust the time with the hour/min/sec buttons. There is no way to step the counter back, but you can press and hold to fast forward the count.I got the pink one, which as another reviewer said is more peachy than pink but i prefer that to bright pink anyway.

I found if difficult to set but may be my issue not the product

The design is nice and sturdy but it doesn't have a button to make it silent! So it's so loud to use.

First problem - you cannot set countdown time easily as the hour function is also used to set the mode - WHY? one button more would do the job properly.Second problem. Setting the bell and then not accidentally unsetting it when setting new alarms.Third problem. Once the bell is set it constantly goes off at random times even when the alarm is set to 000000. After this happened 6 times in less than an hour I removed the battery as it was impossible to stop it any other way.I purchased this just a couple of weeks ago to replace a similar timer (with enough buttons to cover all functions!) which finally died after 6 or 7 years of daily use.

Good build quality, very readable LCD and just simple and nice to use. I recommend it.

The display is easy to read - large digits and very clear.It is easy to set up but I have to put 1 minute in before I set an hour because the hour button serves as another function too. The instructions are perfectly clear so I have found that fine. I recommend this small timer.

Several users report magnet too small on sliding down the fridge door. This is not true. The magnet is strong and the timer stays firmly on the fridge door. No issues with the functionalities, works as advertised. If for some reason a function seems not to work (most likely you've pressed multiple buttons and messed up the built-in logic) just remove the battery to reset. Simple as that.
