The key cover fits, however, it won't latch. Lacking depth of 1.5mm.

I purchased this key cover for 2022 X5 and it's perfect. The clamshell is durable plastic with magnets that hold the two pieces together. It does make the key a little bulkier than I'd like but it protects the key which is the whole point. I'm personally not a fan of the colorful design but I reached out to the seller and he sent a plain black cover which was exactly what I was looking for. I'm sure they would sell more covers if they advertised solid colors, especially matt-black. I would highly recommend.

Both the cover and accompanying holder are of good quality. For the cover, the magnet is much stronger than I expected it be, and we don't have to worry about the case getting opened easily. The transparent shield that covers the fob buttons was confusing at first, but then I figured out how to use it - you just need to press a little harder. And we have the option to not put the transparent shield, if we don't want it. The holder ring, hook, and leather are all really good quality. I'm expecting it to last a long time. One that that's probably missing is a simple keyring for keeping keys.

I was happy with this case for about two weeks and then it fell apart. The magnets were not sufficiently glued. My return was accepted with no problems.I bet this would be better with a keyless entry key but because I had the older style, only 4 magnets held the clamshell prices together. Otherwise the quality of all the counterparts we're actually nice and I was hoping it would last. If I had the time to super glue the magnets in myself I think it would have been fine but not for the $30 I paid.

I took a chance on this and i am pleased i did. I. Only used the loop piece as i already had a genuine bmw keyring. It was easy to install and all the buttons work. This should protect my key fob and keep it looking new! Def a recommendation. Not sure why it has few reviews, this product is awesome

This is a good key protectant. I like that it's made with good quality and Easy to install. also not to small and not big and bulky to carry. I didn't need any screws or anything, It’s a magnetic case. Perfect fit with my keys so I don’t get the wrong size.
