Q: Does installation require tape or adhesive?

awesome product! does not require either adhesive nor tape. Comes with small Velcro strips, but I didn't need to use them as the attached tabs work just fine.

Q: No issues putting the window up and down? Scratches?

No issues at all! I’ve bought three different brands of these things and these are by far the best. If you use all of the Velcro and install the tabs as shown, these are very strong. My dog is a 100 pound beast and paws at them non stop and they are still installed after 6 months

Q: i need one for outside of door to protect from drool please help?

I was unable to use these on the inside. The flaps will not insert into my window slot. I’m not sure if they would work for outside of the car door....might fit in another style of car window. Might work for outside when car is not running, otherwise cover will blow away in wind. They come with adhesive Velcro but I do not want to place that on my interior.
