I was excited to finally try Callie's Buttermilk Biscuit Mix at home. They were a hit at my house and so easy to make. The directions on the back were simple to follow, I need to try the Shortcake Mix next. I am sending to my sister in law for the holidays, she is going to love the packaging- the colors of the bags are even cute. It's the perfect size to whip up for the family or when my neighbors come by-- so happy!!

My family loves strawberry shortcake and I decided to switch it up and prepare biscuits instead of the usual cake. And let me tell you Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit - Shortbread Mix did not disappoint. The flavor and texture of the biscuits are to die for. Not to mention I didn’t feel as guilt indulging since they are low carb! If you like a delicious shortcake biscuit this is the best mix. I’ve made biscuits my whole life, but not the shortcake ones. These are on the sweet side and we served them with strawberries and whipped cream. I will be buying them again.

Please do not purchase from this vendor. Callie's web site lists this item as containing 2 packages of mix. I thought (I know my fault) this shipment would contain 2 as well. Wrong. It is just one. Find other sources. For those that are gluten free, the mix is wonderful.
