We have been using these for months and ordered these because of all the negative ratings on other similar talking buttons that were less expensive. After only one month of actually using them and not everyday, one of the buttons no longer works. The recording sounds muffled and can’t be recorded over. I tried changing the battery and it still doesn’t work. I was using to train my puppy but I had take up all four because he was learning the different colors and it might confuse him this late into the training. Not sure what I will buy tin replace it but at least with the less expensive ones won’t bother me to lose money if they break. They look and feel very durable, easy to push but not to loose so they go off unintentionally, the colors are bright and the sound is good if working.

The good: I love the design of the recording mechanism on these buttons, being placed on the bottom of the button and having a separate record and play setting. The buttons are large and easy for a big dog to press with a paw.The bad: I think there's some sort of problem with the wiring. Within the first few days, one of the buttons stopped working as though it had drained the batteries much faster than expected. After many sets of batteries, that one stopped working entirely. Another of the buttons used up batteries every few days until I finally threw it away too. The third button goes through batteries more often than the fourth, but it's still working okay. The fourth one is working fine, though.

3 of the buttons deserve 5 ⭐️ - they’re perfect. But the blue button doesn’t work which is frustrating. If there was a way to exchange one button and have 4 working buttons I’d do it.

We have several sets of the name brand non-dog branded buttons. We purchases this set to try and compare.This set has far more volume. This sacrifices audio quality and has a large amount of gain, so expect distortion. Fine for my purposes though. The switch to choose between record and play is a FAR better interface than the other brand's side button. Another plus for these.The only complaint is that the button is a little more wobbly. So if my dog taps the side of the button rather than the exact middle, sometimes it doesn't register.

These are clear and loud, though I could talk quieter to make the sound softer. The reverse isn't true, can't make quiet ones loud so im glad i got these. I bought some from another company that look the same but have distorted sound with static and are quiet no matter how loud I record my voice.These win by far. All 4 worked. I will be buying a second set. Worth the money to me.
