The heater is very good. The only trouble I had was comunication with Amazon.

Good well built product.
Overall good product built to last. The newer version makes more NOISE when switching on/off than the version of 10 years ago (which I have and still works fine).

We have had ours for YEARS!
As far as electric heaters go, this is quality. I don't have a remote control model (if there even is one) but we bought ours YEARS ago. Maybe 10 years ago, it's been so long. So you do get your money's worth. I think hubby only had to open it up once to replace the on/off switch. That's about all that has gone wrong with it. Filter is magnetic attachment and easy to reach and clean. Fan forced heat. Thermostatically controlled so it won't run forever. We use it to heat about a 600 sq ft area and it does fine.
