This item PULLS MY HAIR. DOESN'T hold my hair up, like in the video shown before you purchase it. 🙄BUT, I found a better USE for it instead. My hair is soft and silky but long, way past my shoulders. The opening was quite large with only heavy wire on the perimeter. I think you would need to have very long hair or long, thick or curley for this to work well.

Since it might be of relevance - my hair is long, to about an inch above my waist, the individual hairs are fine and wavy but overall I have dense hair that has some weight to it. When I place the bun maker and start rolling it up the angle makes it difficult to not have strands escape. And no matter how tight I try to roll it up it always ends up being a loose bun which looks like it’s sagging and about to come undone within moments. I’ll practice some more but don’t feel confident it’ll do what I hoped it would (a tight, neat, stay in place for work bun)

going to try to make the hole for the hair smaller, with age my hair is not half as thick as it use to be.
