This book is for patterns for beaders who already know how to brick stitch. Nowhere does it claim it will teach you how to brickstitch.The book contains exactly what it said it does. Patterns and bead graph paper.If you bought a book of sewing patterns and then wrote a review about how the book didn't teach you how to sew, then you obviously don't know the most basic vocabulary for the subject. Otherwise you wouldn't be ridiculously disappointed that after looking at pictures of the design of some outfit, you didnt miraculously know how to use the sewing machine to make it.If you dont know brick stitch, you should probably learn how to before purchasing a book filled with patterns that require you to use it.

Great design ideas but does not explain the process to getting started.

This is loom stitch not peyote, only the top triangle is peyote. Zero instructions, there is a confusing visual pattern to look at. I would not recommend anyone buying this.

Aucune aide pour faire le point ,pas d aide pour terminer ou commencer l ouvrage. Un point qui n existe pas mal traduit. Les réalisations sont très belles beaux dessins de tissage

Not a bad basics book, nice that it has blanks for personal design

Would have liked more instruction at a first time ever beader, like where to start how to increase and decrease, how to get frindge to let flat what type of needles go use what kind of thread. How to fix it if string breaks.. those would be most helpful to include but over all, I'm glad to find this book. all in all I was looking for first Nation style pieces and wished book had more .. also I wished pattern included indicators going across to help count the beads making it easier to double check your work s progress...These are just my suggestions, I appreciate all the work the author did to put together such a wonderful selection of beading master pieces.. check it out it's perfect if you bead or are starting out
