I purchased another brand of noninsolated crimp tool first. It made terrible crimps. It was hard to use and made a lot of wasted bad crimps. This iwiss brand is an amazon choice. I can see why others also like it. It is a great tool. It is a non-ratching tool, but works great. It is easy to use. I place very accurate controlled crimp on most any non-insolated type of connector every time. The reason is the way the jaws engage and connector prongs. It uses a parrallel crimping movement. Not like normal pliers that distrubes the wire andconnector before the wire is crimped. this tool makes perfect crimps every time. No waste.

Works well and durable

Trying to crimp terminals without the correct crimper is difficult and definitely not pretty. These crumpets make it much easier but there is a learning curve. So for the money these are well worth it. They are kind of built somewhat ok but are more on the cheap side but once again the money spent doesn’t justify these crumpets to be awesome. Those crumpets cost way more and are a joy to use.

Nice tool did a great job, no problem with any of the connections. I had to put a whole new wiring harness in my 1970 Pontiac Bonneville after original harness caught fire 🔥. So 😨

I bought this tool, cuz I love tools and adding to my collection, but I love tools even more when they make my work look more professional and do the job right. In the past I have always gone the cheap and unprofessional route, but it doesn't take that much effort to do it right with the correct tools. It's actually better and less time consuming if you do it right the first time. In the past my wire connections always came apart and caused me electrical problems on my vintage cars, but this tool does it the correct way intended by the original manufacturer. I also used this tool to install a stereo on my new car. The only two draw backs are the locking mechanism, which doesn't really matter because you can store in the open position, but it is a little tricky to figure out how it works.The other drawback is the design because you have to flip the pliers over to crimp different size sections of the crimp, but once you figure that out, its not too bad. The better more expensive design is the pliers that crimp both sections of the crimp at once, but once again if you wanna save time you gotta spend more money on a more advanced tool, but if you are a diy'er like me and only use this tool once or twice a year, than it's perfect for the job. I was rather surprised by the quality of this tool was. It works flawlessly.

I bought a different style crimper with interchangeable dies that does all terminals. This is the one I use for weather pack without fail. It's easy to use and does a perfect crimp in the wire, be gentle when crimping the seal, yes it's another step, and you'll love these and the results you get

I bought these as I use them "literally" every day. Simple and easy to use. Hopefully nothing will break in them as there is only a pivot that moves. Everything you'll ever need in crimping electrical connectors. Go buy some......... Just like I did.... And be happy. Thanks
