Plain text, very easy to read. Guidelines that are proven in time, a very clear and concise guide. It never claims to be more than a guide, but this book is small enough to stay in my horse riding bag, so I can read it, time and time again. Most of the things mentioned in the book I have experienced already, the book has all the right answers! No technical terms, just horse riding as you do it to enjoy. It can even be read by children, the explanation of how-to is that easily worded.

Very basic information here -- probably most helpful to a child that is interested in learning to ride. Easy to read. I do like the fact that it is a reprint of a book that was originally printed in 1922. (Almost 100 years ago !)

Love it
