Fold Flat Ultra Light Wood Burning Camp Stove for Hiking and Camping from Foretrekker Outdoors

This is the first camping stove I've bought. I decided to try it out in the backyard with my son. It's super easy to assemble and break down. I like that it's got a side big enough to manipulate the kindling when you're getting your fire started. I was able to start the fire and keep it going in a pretty good wind. I was surprised how quickly the fire got hot. I filled the tea kettle in the picture half way with tap water and I was able to bring it to a hard boil in 25 minutes. The whistling kettle was screaming because it so hot.There's really no con, except there's a warning. Do not leave this fire. It gets really hot and as you get it started, you may have to baby it and keep feeding it twigs and sticks. Putting out the fire was easy. My son and I can't wait to use it camping.

This product is not only the most affordable option on the market for cooking safely in the wild, it's also absolutely the easiest to use. Rather than haul in a tank of gas and hook up a complicated stove hoping you didn't use more fuel than you thought you did last time, this stove allows you to cook efficiently with just a pile of twigs. Just completed a 3 day backpacking trip with this stove. There was a little learning curve for me but overall the stove performed great.

There's not a lot to say here yet I could write on and on and on. This outdoor stove uses any available burning wood material such as twigs, sticks, bark, etc and allows for pots, pans or cups to be used for boiling and cooking. I love this company they know about simple and effective and that's what is truly important. Don't even hesitate this is an absolute winner here and is lighter than light so you won't even know it is in your pack intil you need it and you will definitely need it. Comes in a little carrying case and closes tight with Velcro. I love it and you surely will as well! It is as good if not better than stoves costing 3 times as much. Quality materials and quality control make this an awesome purchase and at this price point it's a no brainer!!

Solid piece of kit. I got my hands on a prototype and can honestly say this makes more sense than any other stove option. The way you put it together seems backward at first (by inserting the tab through the front instead of the back), but then it makes perfect sense and holds together better when you fold it the right way. It's actually very simple. Takes 30 seconds or so to assemble the 4 pieces. My titanium cup and full size pot each have no trouble sitting on top, and they feel secure. I will be packing this stove for every trip.

For the money it is outstanding... I love the stove packs away nice and cooks great. Easy to feed wood into..

It took a while to review this as the weather has not engendered a desire to test it. Now that I have had an opportunity to try this out I am impressed. Very functional and much lighter than the biomass stove I was using. It stores flat and is quick and simple to set up. supports cookware well. My new backpack stove.
