Kittycentric Cozy Cat Cave Bed - Handmade 100% Wool, Large (Dark Grey/Cream)

I had previously purchased a wool cat cave from a different seller and since I have two cats, I ended up wanting another. The product was unavailable at the time I wanted to purchase and found this one instead. The entry hole on this one is much bigger, not that it matters because my cats spend more time lying on top of them than actually in them. They also drag them all over the house.I will say this one is much prettier and I'm wishing I had purchased it to begin with because next to it, the other one almost looks like an eye sore.All said and done, I'm happy with my purchase and it's not being ignored by the cats, so that says something.

two cats in residence. one of them took a look, went in, came back out and hasn't given the bed another thought.the other cat, went in, came back out and now periodically plays with it. holds it with front feet, kicks it with back feet. each evening i put it right and next morning find it somewhere else in the room, upside down and mushed. yesterday we added a t-shirt belonging to her favorite person, my husband ....who by the way did NOT buy the bed for her. now she gets in it and stays a while with her chin resting on the edge of the opening. still tussles with it overnight. so the jury is still out. it IS a fine looking addition to any room!

Our 2 kittens absolutely love their Cozy Cat Cave. At first only one of the girls played with it, and the wool ball that came with - in fact she is so crazy about it, I hope I can find a way to order a few more. The other kitten was very suspicious & I was sad that this wasn't going to get much use. It just took a little longer & now they both play, wrestle, hide in it. A lot. No sleeping in it yet, but they are kittens. I wanted a cat bed for the dining room that didn't look like cat furniture and this is perfect - it looks more like art than a cat bed. Until one of the kittens pops out.

We have two cats. One likes to sleep in tight boxes, but not the cubby hole on his cat tree. The other never used a cat bed of any type. Both cats really like to sleep on this. They prefer it flattened down, but one will get in it when its up like a cave. I think he may use it more like that when its winter. It is also very pretty and fits in well with our decorated room. It is expensive, but it seems like it will last for years. and still look good. It is a little expensive but the quality, materials and appearance are worth it. I would like to see one made that is a bed, not a cave and would probably purchase a second one.

My kitty loves this Cat Cave. We moved several times this year and the last move after our home sold very quickly was to live in our airstream that we just bought that we are renovating. The Cat Cave has proven to help with the stress for our fur baby. Its beautifully made, and large enough for our kitty. My kitty is over 16lbs and just lost a few lbs...and fits in it perfectly. I move it about the cabin and he finds it no matter where I put it. I think he likes the faint odor inside of the animals that the fur came from. You can only smell it if you put your head inside it. I really love it!

The cat cave is really great. I love the colors and it even fits my 16 lb large breed cat. I will say that it took him a while to get into it, so I tried just about everything I could. Treats, cat nip spray, putting his mat in it. Finally, out of pure curiosity he crawls in and loves it! It had a smell to it when I first opened it and it was a little squished but the smell went away in a couple of days and the shape evens out over time. Plus, your cat might even prefer to lay on top of it so there's no point in worrying about it. And now one of his favorite toys is the ball that is made of the same material. All I hear is the jungle and know exactly what he is up to. I highly recommend!

My cat loves this bed! He still opts for my lap at times (like right now) but he really digs it. Some days he goes into the hole and other days he chooses to smoosh it down to lay on top of it. The design, style and quality are awesome. My cat weighs about 11 pounds and fits really comfortably in it, with plenty of room to turn around.

This cave is really nice. I love my cats - and probably have a bit of a codependent relationship (just know that I do too much for them to understand my next statements). But I will not buy the ugly cat furniture, or beds, or.... I think most pet accoutrements are just hideous. But this - is actually beautiful. And like other reviewers have said - I wish they made a people sized one as well. It is warm and cozy, and it actually makes the cats' fur softer, and it looks nice in the room too.Now - I do have a wish for how to improve this product. It is because I have fat cats. One is positively rotund. the not so fat one - still, he weighs 20 pounds - he gets into it and hangs out in it. The really tubby one (smaller in stature than the boy, but weighs a few pounds more - she is shaped like a big rugby ball) - she is who I bought this for really because she likes hidey-holes. Well, she won't get into it on her own. I think it is because the opening is a bit small for her. She fits once inside - but it presses against her sides when she gets in. So - codependent relationship alert - I help her. When I am nearby and she looks like she wants in - I put her front paws in it - and then she will go in. So my wish - is that the lovely people that make these things would make the opening a bit larger. Maybe they could make a "fat" cat version? I don't know. I had a feeling that this would be a small opening when I ordered it - it is only logical. To make it a cave-like thing - it should be close and dark inside. And any normal sized cat would fit through the hole without issue. So, it is not a dig on the product, just a wish that they made a fat cat version. Will you? I would buy it.
