Scissors all worked great - I did not try the thinning shear
I received my Wisspet grooming kit about 3-weeks ago. I began using them immediately to clean up parts of the coat on my Shih Tzu. Scissors all worked great - I did not try the thinning shear. I groomed my dog last weekend.the scissors saw extensive use without a problem. The only problem I had with the scissors is that one pair of the scissos did not fit my thumb. This made that particular scissor useless to me. I am willing to state that I am above average in size and the fact my thumb did not fit into one of the scissors doesn't affect the 5-star rating given to the Wisspet set.

Need to replace often - fall apart and won't remain tight later
I purchased these in 2016, they fell apart, cannot keep them together to cut with, lasted through a couple of groomings. Were not very sharp when new. The shears were only good as a temporary tool, not very sharp and soon could not hold together, kept loosening up. Teeth fell out of the comb as well. I have poodles that I use a slicker brush, then comb to test prior to bathing and again before using the clipon combs to groom. I later purchased the MGT 5900 Diamond Shear. They were much better but each tool 3 X the price, the cutting edge, when well cared for, lasts moderately. I'd like to find a well sharp cheaper scissor and I would just replace when dull. I don't have experience with the high end Geib so don't know if the cost is worth it or not.
