Helmet arrived andin excellent condition. I was worried about the sizing because of some of the other reviews I read but I went by their sizing chart and it was extremely accurate. The helmet fit as though it was custom molded for my head. The gloss black was shiny and a very crisp vivid black coating.The fact that this also comes equipped with a quick release chin strap and an adjustable knob in the back is an added bonus.The knob I was concerned beforehand that it was some flimsy exposed plastic piece like a construction hard hat and it is not. It’s out of the way and very a comfortable fit. When adjusting, you can feel it slowly tighten to give an even greater fit.This helmet is well worth the money and I plan on buying another soon.It doesn’t look or feel like a budget helmet and actually looks like it is expensive.I am well impressed.The sun shade is also easy to lower and raise even though I probably won’t use it but it’s nice to have in case I forget my shades.Overall- very impressive and good quality and excellent fit!Highly recommended!

I have a 56 cm head circumference and ordered the small size as recommended and it’s a perfect fit and very comfortable. I wear glasses and it doesn’t interfere with it. For the type of helmet very comfortable and lightweight. The size adjustment dial gives a customizable twist. Chin strap is easy to use as well. Only think I wished for this helmet is that it could have been a duel visor style helmet. Also should have came with the clear shade rather than dark, almost forcing you to pay for a clear shade visor. That why 4 stars for value for the money.

I've been looking for a new helmet with a drop down visor. If you have ever been caught in a thunderstorm or rainstorm while riding your bike, you know how not having a visor feels and your vision is reduced drastically when using a half helmet. Half helmets are great in the summer as they are cool and allow more audible awareness of the road. However not all helmets are created equally. So after that introduction here were my requirements:1. Drop down visor2. Light while providing maximum protection3. Minimum "Mushroom Head"4. Good fit, doesn't float up and down while ridingAfter finding that I could not find this helmet in stock anywhere, I chose another brand which looked like it would fit the bill. However when I received it, it was HUGE! Much larger than my current helmet. I looked like the Darth Vador guy in "Spaceballs." So I returned it. I looked at many other helmets again and read through all the reviews. I finally determined that the Vega was the only one I wanted and was willing to wait for them to get back in stock even though it would mean going without the drop down visor for the rest of the summer. Luckily I did not have to wait long and Amazon had them back in a few weeks. I saw it and jumped on buying it. Got it yesterday and put it to the test today. I would have to say I was not disappointed. First of all it looked great. The fit was perfect and was light as a feather but well made. It came with a releasable chin strap AND an adjustable head band for a snug fit. The helmet did not float and the chin strap choke me while riding. It was so light I barely felt like I had it on. The pull down visor was great in blocking the sun. (I also purchased a clear one for night riding at a great price). Bottom line; this was a home run and I was 120% satisfied with this helmet. My only reservation was the finish of the paint job. I love the paint job and was wondering if a coat or 2 of clear acrylic would give it better protection from fading, etc. This is a flat finish and I have been used to gloss finish helmets. But this is not enough to detract from all the great features of the helmet.

I wear a XXL in all other Helmets. After trying on I will need a 4XL maybe 5XL. Sizing is so far off I am skeptical of buying again. Could possibly take two more attempts. Ugh! My rating is based on inaccurate information. The helmet actually seemed up to par.
